"My family and I stayed in this simple, beautiful home less than a block from the beach. We could not have been happier with the quality and comfort of this property. The three-story beach house has great access to the beaches since it is less than a block from the sand. We were there for a week. It is very comfortable and immaculately maintained. All essentials are provided. There are a number of high end features, toys and games for the children, items to take with you to the beach, and after a long day of play, the towels, sheets, and beds are clean and comfortable. There is a full washing machine and dryer, large new kitchen refrigerator and a spare freezer/frig in the garage. There are plenty of plates, utensils, bowls, and cooking equipment for the family meals. The home has all of the essentials, computer access, large HDTV, elevator, protected pool area, Internet service, ready to use kitchen for home made meals, and more than enough space for six to eight people. We watched the sun rise on the beach in the mornings. There is very easy access to grocery stores and shops for necessities and amenities, pleasant restaurants within walking distance, and sandwich / beachcomber restaurants for easy-going meals. The master bedroom is huge with a large walk-in closet and a beautiful master bathroom with giant jet tub and extra-large shower area. The bedroom opens up to the third floor deck for private Ocean views with comfortable sitting chairs and table. The downstairs dining area also opens onto an outside covered deck overseeing the swimming pool that has a comfortable outdoor dining table for six. Many of the beds are brand new. Sheets, towels, & amenities are comfortable and top notch. The pool is a private oasis and a wonderful temporary alternative to the beach and ocean. We lingered in the pool with the children for hours. This is a wonderful home. We completely enjoyed every minute of our stay and hope to return many times to this beautiful house & its welcoming accommodations in the years to come. Many Thanks to the owners for our wonderful week long family experience in beautiful St. Augustine Beach."

  • Great condo!

"Very clean and plenty of space for four adults and two teenagers. Well stocked kitchen supplies, towels and beach equipment (chairs, cart, boogie board). No beach view or even a peek at the coast. Was a walk to beach through many other condos. Location close and easy to everything. Great access to well maintained pool. Plenty of parking and parking under cover a plus in hot weather. Wifi hit and miss even after resetting. Second bedroom TV not connected; called rental agency, but issue never addressed. We had a great time!"

  • Great Community

"We walked into a wonderful, friendly group at Sea Haven enjoying golf games and happy hours that only a truly welcoming community provides. One cannot over estimate the advantages this provides in learning about sites to see, places to eat, pubs to visit and special events to experience like local markets, historical sites and theater presentations. The firm beach sand was also an advantage providing a great environment for walking and biking. You could even drive your car along it if you wished to. The accommodations were comfortable and provided a pool and ocean view, even from the special master bedroom. The kitchen was small, but modern and well outfitted. Finally, topping it off, the owner was very well organized, thoughtful and cooperative. What more could a wandering snowbird ask for!"

  • Pleasant Beach House

"We are just finishing up a very pleasant stay at Treasure Chest. We used to live inland near here and come back to see friends and enjoy the beach. This cozy cottage worked very well for entertaining a few friends in casual beach style. The gas grill came in very handy, as did the parking. The kitchen is small but cute and very well stocked. No ice maker but I prefer to buy ice since the water is, uh, Florida water. The umbrella on the deck provided nice shade. The property manager was very responsive to a couple of minor issues. The deck table and chairs are getting a bit rusty (put a towel on your chair) and the deck wood itself is splintering and will need replacement soon. I would not recommend this cottage for small children until that project is done. But it was fine with teens and adults. We wore our flip flops or walked carefully to avoid a cut or splinter. The yard is fenced if you close the gates across the driveway. Also, we were able to use plastic deck chairs to block off part of the deck to allow our terrier to keep us company on the deck. (I wasn't comfortable leaving her unsupervised down below, but that due to her nature, not the property.) Most interior doors don't lock (which bothered my teen when he wanted to change or shower). The view is lovely and the beach uncrowded. The cottage is walking distance or easy drive to Publix and restaurants. I love the location."
