  • Perfect property

"We just got home from a week stay at this property. The condo was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. We did some cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. The view off the porch was great. Winning Dixie and Publix were within a 3 mile drive. We brought a small dog it's a very pet friendly area. He loved the beach. Would definitely stay here again."

  • Clean and more up-to-date than some

"We enjoyed staying in this condo. Our family rented (3) other rooms at Island South and I believe this one was one of the more up-to-date ones. The living room was nice and roomy and the WIFI worked great. One of my favorite parts is the very spacious balcony area. The balcony area is much larger than most condos we have stayed at. Although Island South is a smaller property it was very enjoyable and I never felt like the pool area was packed (and we even stayed the week of the 4th of July). Parking wasn't ever a problem even during this busy time of year. There is one parking spot with the condo number assigned to it and if you had more than one car there was plenty of guest parking. If you are pulling a boat there is grassy public parking along the small side street at the enterance of the condo. We had no theft issues (very quiet area). Since this room is on the 2nd floor, the fact that there are steps on the front and the back of the building made it more convenient. We loved the short distance between the pool and the beach. There is a boardwalk to the beach but it isn't as long as other places we have stayed at St. Aug. there is no key entry needed to get on and off the beach which is NICE. Also there are no steps to get on and off the boardwalk, it is just ramps, which makes it very convenient when you have small children. The only con we noticed as far as condo layout is that you have to go down the steps and back up the steps to other condos in the building (unless your family is directly neighboring you). For example, if you have family on the 3rd floor, not all 3rd floor rooms are connected. You may have to go down the steps and back up the steps in a different section. Just to be clear, since I read the description wrong, this room has a King size bed in one room (w/ a flat screen tv), (2) twins in the other room (w/ an older style tv), and a fold out bed in the couch in the living room."

  • Peaceful, private, perfect getaway

"My husband and I stayed at one of Jane's unit, not the unit featured above but in the same building. She has six units at this condo. Mrs. Jane was very efficient to work with and provided all answers to our questions. Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. Our unit was on the end and very private. We LOVED the key code to the unit and the beach as we didn't have to carry a key or wear wristbands. Very user friendly. The pictures featured are what you see when you get here. It is a cozy space for sure but perfect for two people. The kitchen has everything you will need. We cooked each night and didn't need anything. There is not a dishwasher so I would recommend bringing paper products so your not washing dishes all the time. Also, have the stove fan on when your cooking or when you use the toaster be aware because the smoke detector may go off even if there is no smoke or smell. :) it was nothing we couldn't handle and it turned off after 3 beeps or so. The bed was very cozy and we enjoyed watching tv in there. The living area and balcony was so peaceful and nice. It is right on the ocean!!! Access to the beach is down the elevator and off the boardwalk. We stayed on the beach most of our trip but drove down the highway a bit and found marineland with nice rocks, etc. It was a very nice and relaxing trip! You will not regret your stay here!"

  • Great Community

"We walked into a wonderful, friendly group at Sea Haven enjoying golf games and happy hours that only a truly welcoming community provides. One cannot over estimate the advantages this provides in learning about sites to see, places to eat, pubs to visit and special events to experience like local markets, historical sites and theater presentations. The firm beach sand was also an advantage providing a great environment for walking and biking. You could even drive your car along it if you wished to. The accommodations were comfortable and provided a pool and ocean view, even from the special master bedroom. The kitchen was small, but modern and well outfitted. Finally, topping it off, the owner was very well organized, thoughtful and cooperative. What more could a wandering snowbird ask for!"
