  • Clean & Beachy

"This property far exceeded our expectations. My mother was closing on a house in Saint Augustine and we wanted to learn the area more. This was the perfect home to do so! It is a block away from the beach, cute cafes and restaurants walking distance from the house. Downtown Saint Augustine is just a 10 - 15 minute drive from the house and has tons to explore and beautiful scenery, we went every day and found more and more each time. The neighbors were very friendly as well and locals constantly gave us suggestions of places to explore and enjoy. The owners were very accommodating, when we arrived the lock was set up differently then instructions provided. They were immediately available to help us us even though we arrived at 6:30 pm, way past check in time."

  • Wonderful Historic Gem of a House

"We had a great vacation at the Lodge. It is historic and great for family and our two small dogs. We loved the casual nature of the home. Like all old beach houses she can use some love in certain areas, but we completely enjoyed our stay and especially the short walk to what seemed like private beach. As a preservationist I love that family has left the original details in place. Everything we needed to relax. Suggest you fix the spigot in the tub, as it leaks water everywhere."

  • Perfect Stay - Perfect Location!

"This duplex was just perfect for my family of four plus my two fur babies. Very cutsie decor with a fun beachy feel. There were four bikes which I recommend riding along the shore. The beach chairs are quite tattered and worn with memories but worthy of a few more. The location was perfect because the beach was a short stroll as well as several casual restaurants. You really don't even have to drive anywhere. Just enjoy the beach til you get hungry, rinse off at the house under the outdoor shower and stroll over to Mango's or Beachcombers (1 block over on the beach) or the awesome Taco Shop across the street. All of which were really good! We booked a couple of ghostly tours to keep our daughters entertained in the history of this beautiful old city. We chose the discounted groupon offers which were really fun. The weather was beautiful every single day. I recommend taking a small spray bottle of water to help with the heat. Upon booking, the owner, Kathleen, was very nice and timely with communications. I highly recommend this adorable little beach house!!"

  • Perfection

"This is the best (out of 4) VRBO rentals we have stayed at. Very clean and all the comforts of home but the spectacular ocean view was the icing on this lovely cake. We arrived about 10 days after Hurricane Matthew blew through. To our delight we found the grounds well groomed and all facilities up and running. This well appointed condominium was a pleasing treasure to behold. 5 stars and we are looking forward to returning soon. P.S. All communication between VRBO, Bill & Gamin Dobbie (the renters) and ourselves was prompt and courteous."
