  • Great cottage close to beach

"What a super cute and great cottage so close to the beach! We had a wonderful time. The house was very well equipped, super clean and perfectly located. Driving to St. Augustine Downtown is about 15-20 minutes. Great for families with two kids or max. 4 people. Would definitely stay there again!"

  • Perfect spot for relaxation!

"This property was beautiful! The location is perfect to wake up and watch the sunrise over the ocean. A short walk to the beach access. 2 bedrooms are very large, master with private bath has plenty of room to relax after a long day. 2nd bedroom has 2 queen beds and a bath across the hall and large walking closet. 3rd bedroom should not really be called a bedroom but more of a library. It has a pull out couch with a mattress about 4 inches thick and not comfortable. There is a private bath but only with a toilet and sink, the 3rd shower is off the garage (4 flights of stairs down) in the laundry room and has a toilet and shower, so there isn't really a complete "3rd bathroom". More like 2 full and 2 half baths. No closet in the 3rd bedroom but instead a wall hanging coat rack. When the sofa bed is open you can hardly fit around the corner it takes up the entire room. Was a little disappointing for 3 adult couples but the rest of the property made up for it. Very large drive through garage was great for our motorcycles! All 3 bedrooms have ocean view, living room has ocean view as well. Kitchen well supplied with everything you need. Some sort of ceiling work was going on when we were there, outside the linen closet the ceiling was torn up and insulation was hanging through the large hole. Otherwise the property was very nice. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Right off A1A and minutes from restaurants and shops, easy access to I-95."

"After our second stay at Seasalt we were just as pleased as our first stay. Close to the water, all the things you need to enjoy the sand and surf on the Atlantic. I'm sure we will return again next year. Scott & Trish are the most gracious hosts and someday hopefully we'll have a chance to express our gratitude face to face."

"I have been renting vacation homes for over 30 years. This adorable villa is on my list of very favorites. The minute you walk through the front door you feel like you've finally made it to "Beach Vacation Land" and you just sigh. Beatrix has thought of every amenity possible. Every aspect of a guest's comfort and convenience was anticipated and accommodated from a table just inside the front door to lay your keys and purse on so you don't loose them (which I'm good at doing) to the wonderful chaise lounges on the lanai to watch the sunsets over a cold drink. The furnishings and decor are very tastefully done. There are several pieces I would have loved to have myself! The beds were very comfortable and there was ample dresser and closet space. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to make meals. There were boogie boards, beach chairs, an umbrella, an insulated beach bag and plenty of beach towels for enjoying the beach comfortably. The outside shower was a real plus allowing us to rinse off after spending time at the beach. Although there is a beautiful dining room and dining set, we preferred having our meals out on the lanai over looking the pond. It was so peaceful and serene. It is a very quiet area yet within minutes you can be in the heart of the action in historic St. Augustine. The beach is a short walk or a two minute drive from the villa as were the pools. I loved the master suite. It was light and breezy and had a private entrance to the lanai. The master bath was wonderful with the huge step in shower. The guest room which my friend used was adorable and she said very comfortable. The linen closet is full of ample towels, washcloths, linens, bathmats -no chance of running out, but if so, the washer & dryer are really, really nice and very convenient. Beatrix is a very warm and lovely lady; the kind of person you'd love to have as your neighbor and friend. I have no negatives for this villa. If/when I make it back to St. Augustine Beach, this is definitely where I want to stay. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Friederich for a lovely stay for myself and my friend."
