  • Great Condo and owners

"We had four adults and one 3 year old for our group and this condo had plenty of room and was a great set up. Had a good view and a very short walk to the beach or the pool. The owners were super nice and accommodated very well and also it was the most supplied stays I have ever had on a vacation as far as kitchen supplies go and items you would need at the beach such as beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys and a corn-hole set. We were all very happy with our stay and highly recommend it for anyone visiting Saint Augustine because it is very close to the town without being so close you are in constant traffic. Thank you so much for having us and making us feel like we were at home!"

  • If you're considering booking, do it!

"Staying at Ebb Tide for my 10 year anniversary was such a lovely and unique experience. Laurie was always very quick to respond to any questions or concerns and she was incredibly kind and accommodating. You are literally walking distance from the beach, and just a stone's throw from the bridge to the beach. It takes about 15 minutes to get to downtown Saint Augustine, which felt very fast with the beautiful scenery of the bridge. It took us about 2-5 minutes to get there and it's a pretty private walk. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and pretty private, and we went while it was cloudy and sometimes rainy! Laurie provides beach chairs and umbrellas under the car port, but you might want to bring your own since they're a bit rusted. Word of warning: Don't take your beach umbrella to the beach if the winds are high -- it will invert! lol The house itself reminds me a lot of the Keys (as does Saint Augustine Beach in general), old with charm and well-kept. You might also want to bring your own beach and bath towels as the ones provided are a bit thin and rough. Also, be careful stepping in and out of the shower, as they are not at the same level -- I almost tripped on my way out the first time lol. There is a very convenient fenced-in yard accessible from the master bedroom, and a second bedroom with bunkbeds and twin beds. Having a washer and dryer available at a beach rental is very useful. The access from the carport was one of my favorite features as well, since it gives privacy and covers you if it's raining. I think the pictures don't do the house justice; the main living area is actually much bigger than it appears in the pictures, and was definitely my favorite "spot" to hang out in the house. The neighborhood felt very safe and beachy. There is some construction going on at a nearby house, but you won't hear any noises or be bothered by it at all. You may have trouble planning your trip since you'll find you want to stay on the island a lot, but also go downtown a lot! There were so many things to do. As for restaurants on the actual island, I think SaltLife Food Shack was a bit overrated, but Sunset Grille was excellent, as was a French bakery called Les Petit Pleasures (order the Spinach and Cheese on a croissant and any crepe!), which looks not-so-great from the outside but is truly a hidden gem. Also, Beachcomber was a pleasant surprise -- the carrot cake is amazing! We will definitely be back! Thanks again for everything Laurie!"

  • Outstanding vacation home!

"My family (8 adults) stayed here for 10 days while on vacation and for a wedding. Being only a couple weeks after Hurricane Matthew, we were a little nervous about the readiness of the home but Rachel assured us all would be in order for our arrival, and it was. We loved everything about this 3 story home, including the super large balconies, spacious bedrooms, bathrooms on each floor, the pool table and even the elevator! The kitchen is large, bright, and well equipped. The main living room is spacious and comfortable. We had minor issues with some fixtures and the security system when we arrived, but Rachel attended to them immediately. The location is excellent - a short 15 minute drive into St. Augustine. The gated community has a direct boardwalk to the beach and access to three outdoor pools and bbq areas. Rachel was great to work with and I can certainly recommend this rental."

  • Great Experience!

"Great time at this property. First time at Crescent Beach . Nice and clean unit with wonderful view....didn't realize there was not an elevator, but everyone pinched in and helped !. Would go back again for sure. We have a condo at St. Augustine Beach which we love, but this place is a lot quieter. We found many new restaurants to try...Viola's, A barbecue at Palm Coast, Hazards and Red Toad and Frog I think......"
