  • Coolest Beach House Ever

"Old beach house charm with all the conveniences. The teenagers loved it as much as the adults. Best beach in Florida for runners, cyclists."

  • Family of 10

"Great house and beach for families! Fantastic views of the ocean! We enjoyed the private access to what felt like a private clean beach. The house was clean and very comfortable with great beachy decor. Kitchen had every thing we needed. We appreciated the outdoor shower and the security of entrance. Low tide gives a lot of beach and surfing waves way out without going in deep water. All was perfect except two things: many dishes from dishwasher had to be rewashed, paper plates fixed that. And at high tide the water covers the bottom 2 or 3 steps of beach access and waves making it difficult to access the steps...but high tide was a perfect time to nap, sun on the deck, or sight see. Then get in more swimming before nightfall. Would we rent this house again? ABSOLUTELY! !"

  • Great beach house. In a great location.

"While the house is not right on the beach it is just across a narrow drive from the beach access. Just a quick walk between the beautiful beach and the beautiful house. And the view from the deck was a great spot for coffee in the morning as well as cocktails in the evening. The house had everything we needed for our days at the beach. Beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas were all there waiting for us. Which makes this a great getaway for vacationers that fly to this destination rather than drive. Simply pack a swimsuit and a couple of pairs of shorts and you will have everything you need. The house is just a short drive from historic Fernandina which is a great place to walk around. Cute places for shopping and great places to eat. This is definitely a house that we will consider again in the future."

  • Perfect spot for relaxation!

"This property was beautiful! The location is perfect to wake up and watch the sunrise over the ocean. A short walk to the beach access. 2 bedrooms are very large, master with private bath has plenty of room to relax after a long day. 2nd bedroom has 2 queen beds and a bath across the hall and large walking closet. 3rd bedroom should not really be called a bedroom but more of a library. It has a pull out couch with a mattress about 4 inches thick and not comfortable. There is a private bath but only with a toilet and sink, the 3rd shower is off the garage (4 flights of stairs down) in the laundry room and has a toilet and shower, so there isn't really a complete "3rd bathroom". More like 2 full and 2 half baths. No closet in the 3rd bedroom but instead a wall hanging coat rack. When the sofa bed is open you can hardly fit around the corner it takes up the entire room. Was a little disappointing for 3 adult couples but the rest of the property made up for it. Very large drive through garage was great for our motorcycles! All 3 bedrooms have ocean view, living room has ocean view as well. Kitchen well supplied with everything you need. Some sort of ceiling work was going on when we were there, outside the linen closet the ceiling was torn up and insulation was hanging through the large hole. Otherwise the property was very nice. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Right off A1A and minutes from restaurants and shops, easy access to I-95."
