  • Relaxing in crowded beach vacation.

"Nicely arranged one bedroom. Plenty of space, well equipped, and just far enough from St. Augustine to keep it in crowded. We loved the big wide open beach! My wife and I run almost every morning. The Matanzas River across the street provides great views from the back of the condo and was nice to look at while running. We recommend visiting the Fort Matanzas National Monument. It is just over two miles South on A1A and it is free with a ferry ride across the river to the fort. You can't beat this place for the price. We had a great week. Our two favorite places to eat are Mango Mango's in St. Augustine Beach where the food is great and priced well, and Matanzas Inlet Restaurant where you can sit outside overlooking the water. Great sunsets there. Thanks for a great time!"

  • WOW!

"We initially shared one of the concerns of a previous renter when we first arrived at the property. We had trouble with the lock and as we were calling the number we were given for assistance, we were able to get our keys out of the padlock. The inner and outer doors were initially deceiving, worrying us a bit about what was inside, as they didn't open (outer) or close (both) very well. The negative ended there. This property had EVERYTHING we could have needed for our stay and then some. We were travelling with 3 small children and this was the perfect place for us. It was clean, spacious, well maintained and well stocked. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies and equipment and we were able to cook meals without having to lug extras there (oil, sugar, salt/pepper, spices, etc...). The dining area was spacious, there were 6 chairs and the table extended for extra seating. The living room was also spacious, updated and comfortable. The couches and chairs were leather which meant no stinky upholstery. There were fun board games, puzzles, DVDs as well as a closet equipped with extra "toys" (tennis racquets/balls, a basketball, beach chairs/sand toys). There was a 1/2 bathroom on this level which was quite convenient. We also enjoyed the balcony and beautiful view. The two bedrooms were spacious and two of our children enjoyed having their own bed, closet and bathroom (there were even extra sleeping bags in the closet!) Both bathrooms were updated and quite clean. The mattresses had pillowtops that have been added which helped with comfort. There were plenty of linens and lots of extras. We didn't need a thing during our stay that wasn't already there. The closet across from the washer/dryer was quite spacious. If and when we visit again we will definitely reserve this property. Each unit has one designated parking space convenient to the unit. We also enjoyed the saltwater pool behind our unit. The walk to the beach was a slight hike (several sets of stairs), but we managed just fine. Thank you to the owners for sharing this well kept, updated and clean property with us, we had an exceptional stay."

  • Perfect Spot for a Rejuvenating Getaway

"The "Sculptor's House" was a perfect spot for our weeklong family gathering. The house is gorgeous on its own, augmented by the namesake sculptor's works of art. The setting is gorgeous, with sunrises over the water and bridge lights by night. The house is an easy walk to good restaurants and many of St. Augustine's major attractions, including the Fountain of Youth, the Nombre de Dios mission and shrine, Flagler College, the "Oldest House," the Spanish Military Hospital Museum, and, of course, Fort Castillo. Three generations of our family had a wonderful time. I'm not sure about the Fountain of Youth, but a week in the "Sculptor's House" is definitely rejuvenating."

  • Beautiful beach house

"The first impression of this house was great, and we were not disappointed when we went inside. The house is spacious and provides room for 10 people to vacation. My husband and I and our daughters and their families thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is truly a few minutes walk to the beach which was lovely and uncrowded. The refrigerator does not have the ice maker, this is just FYI. We found that to be no problem at all. We hope to be able to come back to this house in the future."
