  • ADORABLE, QUIET, PEACEFUL, RETREAT

"I was lucky enough to find this cozy hidden gem in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Walking distance to down town to all the wonderful restaurants, and to the live theater. Boat dockage and charter fishing about 5 or 6 blocks away, plus Brets waterfront restaurant. TV and internet worked flawlessly. Only wished there was a tv in the master bedroom. Local beaches are a short ride by bikes which are provided or about a 5 minutes car ride. I stayed with my small dog and cat which they were very happy and content the entire time in the cottage and on the screened porch. I walked the dog twice a day as they're are sidewalks on most streets. If you take the trolley tour you will appreciate those walks more as you will notice more of the local history. I did like that when I arrived the kitchen glass top table in the photos had been replaced with a wooden dining table, I think that was a plus. The bathrooms were very very clean. I did not cook at the cottage as I ate out the entire time except for snacks. Although they're were many food spices and such that you would hardly have to buy much in that line of items. So I can't speak much on the kitchen, but the wine glasses were very nice and the dishwasher worked very well, as did the washer and dryer. I hope we will be able to stay here again in 2016."

  • Perfect beach front home. Parking was easy and the house was spacious and comfortable.

"The house was perfect for our beach vacation. It was spacious and literally on the edge of the ocean. Each bedroom had its own bath, the deck across the back of the house was perfect for watching the sun rise and relaxing, the front of the house had a courtyard that was very roomy. There was an abundance of parking that made for easy loading and unloading. The house was convenient to Publix and downtown St. Augustine. Lovely home and a great place to stay!"

  • St Augustine long weekend stay

"Very cute house with a big front open porch on a residential street and a ten minute walk to St George which is the heart and bustle of St Augustine..The home had an updated kitchen and comfortable living quarters. The beds were very comfortable as well.and a good size HD television in the living room. We caught some beautiful springtime weather and could of sat on the front porch sipping wine for most of the day. The restaurants we tried were fairly good and priced modestly with big back of the restaurants courtyards for eating and bringing pets and escaping the noise of St George Street."

  • Great, Secure Property Right on the Beach

"The property is extremely nice--gated access, secure parking, secure building. Views are fantastic and the place was very comfortable. Beds were great and furnishings were quite nice. I would definitely come here again. We had all the amenities we needed and the East Coast Rental (1 block away) was great to put out beach chairs and umbrellas with just a quick phone call. The porch off the master and the den was fabulous. Lots of shopping and restaurants close. I can't say enough about the location. Listing was accurate and place was clean albeit floors could have been a little cleaner! Just a couple of "wishes" from this property. We had 3 cars which were allowed with the rental, but only 2 key fobs to get into the gate and into the building. We kept having to go downstairs to let someone in whether it be in a car or from the beach. Also picking up the key in Ponte Vedra wasn't too bad, but when you have a 7am flight the morning you leave, it is a pain to have to backtrack to take the keys back to the rental office. Would have been so much nicer to have had a key drop OR have given us a temporary code to get in on the key panel. (This would have also alleviated us having to run down to let someone else in.) We didn't have anyone sleeping on the couch, but the sun comes in so bright in the early morning and there are no drapes to close. Small items in comparison to the great time we had! Thanks."
