  • Beautiful Home in the Beautiful Community of Seacrest! We LOVED it!!

"This was our first experience booking through VRBO/Dune Allen Realty and I was a little nervous about choosing a home away from home on the internet with just pictures....but we were pleasantly surprised and very happy that the pictures of this home were exactly what we found when we arrived! This house fit our family needs great with the 4 bedrooms and the extra 3rd floor bonus room was definitely a great room to have for all the "young adults" in our group! We were a party of 12 (3 families) plus an infant and we had plenty of space! The open concept 1st floor kitchen/dining and living room was the gathering place most evenings. The master suite on the 2nd floor was nicer than the 1st floor master suite in that it had a whirlpool tub and a walk in closet, which the 1st floor Master did not have. The two queen bedrooms on the 2nd floor shared a full bathroom and the bonus room on the 3rd floor also had a full bath. The community of Seacrest was awesome! This house was located on a quiet dead end street so we did not have a lot of traffic driving by. There was parking for one car out front and parking for two cars out back. The house was also just a short 5 minute walk (3-4 short blocks) to the Seacrest Community Pool entrance. There is also the free shuttle tram you can hop on. We LOVED the pool and would stay in this area again because of the pool and the close location to many other 30A communities ! The beach access was a little further walk (or shuttle tram ride). Seacrest Beaches access point to the beach was down quite a few stairs to a very populated part of the beach. We ended up choosing to drive to a different public beach access further east that was less crowded and easier to get to without stairs. We rented a double decker pontoon boat with slides and a jet ski in Panama City Beach one day and had a great time hanging out in the shallow water by Shell Island. We swam with the dolphins at Marine Gulf World which was pricey, but a highlight of the trip. We ate at some great local restaurants...LaCocina, Pizza by the Sea, Seaside Food Trucks, Shades. We had a great time in this family centered community in our beautiful home away from home for the week. We would highly recommend this home and this community of Seacrest for a wonderful vacation on the beautiful beaches of 30A."

  • Great house for family needs, beach experience could have been better

"The house was wonderful and the location couldn't have been better in the community. The walk to the beach was short and the pool as well. We rented bikes which were wonderful to get around to the neighboring communities. The main issue to know about is the strict beach/easement rules. You MUST have your wristband to enter the walkway to the beach. If one person in the group is missing it they will not let you down to the beach. We saw this happen a lot. We also knew about no wagons before we went (thank you Kathy) so that wasn't as issue for us but it was for many other guests. The "vibe" between the security guards and those of us with wristbands seemed to be quite tense at times and made for an unpleasant experience each time we went to the beach. All to say, the beach experience was not the best we think we could have found along 30a. Kathy was a wonderful owner and we couldn't have been more pleased with the house and her knowledge. If we did decide to return to Seacrest this house would be a top choice for sure."

  • We enjoyed the house and would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the horrible mattresses

"We liked the location of this house and the layout. The porches were great and the streets were perfect for bike riding. The only thing that bothered us were the beds. No one could get comfortable because the mattresses sank down making a huge hole to try to sleep in. The kitchen was nice but missing a few essentials if you plan to cook - no 9x13 pans and no pitchers to mix drinks in. Also there is only a tiny charcoal grill so we decided to skip grilling this year. Overall it was a nice home but we are used to a few more amenities."

  • Beautiful condo

"We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful condo. It was very bright and clean, well-decorated, and has everything you need, including beach chairs and umbrella. The balcony overlooks the pool and it was so nice to sit out there in the morning with our coffee. There are plenty of restaurants and the beach within walking distance. The owner is very friendly and easy to work with. We were very pleased with the entire experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
