"This is the second time we have stayed at Sanctuary at Redfish. The first condo we rented had a better view which included the pool, but this unit was overall a nicer place to stay. It is beautifully furnished! Several times we saw deer just down from our balcony, grazing in the area between the condos and the lake. The condo is in wonderful condition, and the kitchen is amazing. Everything was very clean. One teeny tiny little complaint is that it needs a better TV in the living room. The one that's there now distorts the picture on the sides. Overall, I would highly recommend this unit.
If you haven't been here before, the pool is actually one giant pool consisting of four different pools. If a nice pool is important to you, this is an excellent choice. To get to the beach, you take a free pontoon boat ride from the pool area across the lake over to the beach, which is beautiful and secluded. The water is a gorgeous turquoise blue, and the sand is soft and white. If you are adventurous, which we were, you can kayak or take a rowboat to the beach and back. If you are into biking, you can bike for miles in either direction, either on the paved greenway beside 30A or on the gorgeous single track trail that runs between 30A and Hwy 98.
This is a lovely place to stay, and I'm sure we will be back again in the future. This stretch of 30A is not nearly as crowded as Destin, Seaside, or Panama City Beach, and is our favorite part of the US."
