  • First trip to Blue Mountain Beach

"And we love it! The Palms Cottage was a home away from home. All 6 adults and 3 children had plenty of room. We especially loved resting in the private pool after a hard morning in the waves. We were so close to the beach and the ice cream parlor! I would recommend the Palm cottage and hope to return! Thanks to the owner who was always ready to help!"

"ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL ACCOMODATIONS ON THE BEACH! The unit 304 was 'everything' as described AND 'then some'! Loved having the indoor parking garage - especially when having to load/unload luggage & groceries. Very spacious 3 bedroom unit with several patios to enjoy. Really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub during the 'cool' spring break. Perfect location - far from the 'maddening crowd' - yet only 20 mins to Destin. Easy access to the bike trail along 30A with nearby bike rental, ice creamery, bakery & health food store. The condo complex was clean, well-maintained with security. Can't wait to return! Thanks, Donna !"

"I would just like to say this was by far the best experience ever! Everything we expected and much more- The pictures honestly don't do it justice. Everything was clean and the well maintained. We felt right at home- we took advantage of the grilling area almost daily! Pool was great for the kiddos- about 30 mins from Destin- quiet area- Grocery stores near by, lots of restaurants- trails-Will definately come back! Recommend it to everyone!"

  • Wonderful accommodations

"This is the second time we have stayed at Sanctuary at Redfish. The first condo we rented had a better view which included the pool, but this unit was overall a nicer place to stay. It is beautifully furnished! Several times we saw deer just down from our balcony, grazing in the area between the condos and the lake. The condo is in wonderful condition, and the kitchen is amazing. Everything was very clean. One teeny tiny little complaint is that it needs a better TV in the living room. The one that's there now distorts the picture on the sides. Overall, I would highly recommend this unit. If you haven't been here before, the pool is actually one giant pool consisting of four different pools. If a nice pool is important to you, this is an excellent choice. To get to the beach, you take a free pontoon boat ride from the pool area across the lake over to the beach, which is beautiful and secluded. The water is a gorgeous turquoise blue, and the sand is soft and white. If you are adventurous, which we were, you can kayak or take a rowboat to the beach and back. If you are into biking, you can bike for miles in either direction, either on the paved greenway beside 30A or on the gorgeous single track trail that runs between 30A and Hwy 98. This is a lovely place to stay, and I'm sure we will be back again in the future. This stretch of 30A is not nearly as crowded as Destin, Seaside, or Panama City Beach, and is our favorite part of the US."
