  • Perfect in every way

"This place is perfect for our large family. The rooms are surprisingly large and the loft is very spacious even with 2 queen sized beds in it. The master bathroom is a dream, the marble, the decor and the cleanliness. The kitchen is stocked with everything that we need even the big stock pot for the country boil. Being close to Walmart and Publix really helps and walking to Gulf place is very convenient. The beach is pristine and seems very private on this side of 30A. We just crossed the street and we are on white sugary sand in 2 minutes The only drawback is this condo is very popular and gets booked far in advance."

  • Perfect! Beautiful beaches across the street. Great location!

"House is fully equipped. Lots of space for our 2 families. Easy walk across the street to the beach & steps from private pool made our stay so convenient. Made dinners every night at home because we had everything we needed. We are sad to leave! We are coming back next year."

  • Perfect Getaway Vacation House

"Surfin' Turtle was the perfect stay. So quiet and relaxing. Just a short walk down the road to the pool and quick 2 minute drive to the beach! Everything we needed was in the house and if not, a Walmart was a quick 2-3 minute drive down the street. The pool and beach were both very quiet and relaxing. The house was clean and very high end. We were there for 10 days and we did NOT want to leave!! We actually needed 3 additional days on our stay at the Surfin' Turtle and the customer service we receieved was acceptional. Anything we needed, Tyler was a quick text away! Highly highly recommend this place!!"

  • Location! Location! Location!

"First of all, this was the first time we tried HomeAway.com or VRBO.com, or whatever they call themselves. What a fantastic idea and great execution. The problem has always been connecting those that want to rent a place for a week with owners and have something in the middle that makes both parties feel protected. Problem solved, well done. We live north of Atlanta and have been here for about 3 years. This year, we chose the 30A area for our Spring Break destination. Little did we know that most of GA seems to like that area as well during the same week. When we told my 15 year old daughter where we were going, she was mortified..."I'm going to see everyone on spring break too?!?!?!", and "all of Forsyth County goes there dad!!! I thought I had made a huge mistake...the stressors I was trying to remove myself from, may be following me... We soon learned that Santa Rosa Beach may just be the best kept secret on 30A. While Rosemary Beach, Watercolor, Seaside, Sea Grove Beach is absolutely overrun with screaming, bike riding, Jeep driving, teenagers attempting to impress each other (was in that area 15 years ago and drove through during this time to compare the landscape, it was a mess), Santa Rosa Beach is quiet, and right in the middle between Destin and the hustle and bustle of Seaside. You can easily get into something entertaining or be to yourselves as a family without interruption. The gated community that contains Sea Salt is called Cypress Dunes. It is a growing neighborhood with several lots that have yet to be started. Sea Salt currently sits alone on one side of the street. As we rolled up to the house, we were delighted that we wouldn't have neighbors in our business, nor construction during our time at Sea Salt. As we approached, we saw a beautiful 3 story house with the covered golf cart outside. The house is very nice and well mainatained. The interior design is top shelf. Talking to one of the owners after arrival, I joked that I wasn't very happy...she asked why and I told her that my wife is going to make me buy a house full of stuff upon our return to GA. Haha. The house was a perfect fit, was clean and safe, the pool and amenities are top notch, the walking path is awesome, and the location was exactly what we were looking for, communication with the owners was perfect...we recommend this property and will be looking forward to calling Bob and Sue again next year. What a great experience! Thank you!"
