  • Very neat and clean.

"My 2 daughters and I had a great time and the condo was perfect! Just enough space for us since we didn't spend much time indoors. The ease of beach access was definitely a bonus. All the amenities we needed were available. I would definitely return to this unit and next time I intend to stay longer!"

  • Relax in luxury!!

"We just completed our 4th trip to Adagio in this unit. Our family always has really enjoyed Adagio and specifically this unit. Adagio is really impeccable, the landscaping, pools, location, etc., nothing short of the best! The complex is immaculately kept! Everything, down to the cleanest grills you will ever use. This unit is extremely comfortable and luxurious. It is not stuffy at all, think, functional luxury. It has marble floors, countertops and master bath shower. Nice carpet in the bedrooms. The beds are very comfortable, so much so that we contemplated stealing the master bed blankets. :) We settled for checking the tags to get our own. All three bedrooms have a full bath which sure helps in getting ready for the day or a night out. We love the decorating thru out, very classy beach theming and colors. My daughter (17yrs) wanted to bring home the big rattan chair in the living room, she claimed it as hers for the trip. The kitchen is great, all you need to make great meals, which we have done several times. Do yourself a favor and make a late dinner and take it on the balcony and enjoy the sound of the pool fountain and ocean breeze while you chat about the days beach activities! Then take a stroll up the beach and watch the sunset while the surf washes over your toes. It does the body and soul good! Then watch a movie from a local Redbox on the big screen with the family while planning your next day. There are beach chairs and toys, pails, shovels, boogie boards, etc. in the condo which is very nice. Or you can rent chairs, umbrellas, bikes (at the office), kayaks, paddle boards on the beach too. Think about booking ahead for beach chairs if you come in the summer. You can online thru La Dolce Vita. You will get a list of recos for things to do and Restaurants to eat at. A couple to add for us. Brotula's restaurant was a recent find on this trip, we will be back. Right at the dock in the Destin harbor, just simply great seafood. We did the Hook and Cook which they cook fish you just caught on a charter, totally amazing! We did the Backlash charter boat, highly reco, Captain Chris Kirby, great guy. Xtreme H2O Dolphin Waverunner tour, you get 1.5hrs to split, the tour and alone time. FUN! We have always enjoyed working with Pat, just a great guy, easy to work with and extremely responsive! You simply will NOT regret staying at this condo! In fact you may be back again and again, like we have! ENJOY!"

  • Great place, with a few caveats

"My husband and I just returned from five lovely, albeit rainy, days at Following Seas in Seaside. We were very happy with the cottage - it is a perfect proximity to the downtown area and the beach, and we found it clean, comfortable and well-appointed. We needed to call Seaside Vacations twice for minor questions (trouble logging into the wifi and a minor maintenance issue) and were impressed with the kind and prompt service we received from Matt, and I forgot a few books in the cottage and Gina from Seaside worked quickly to mail them back to me. If you're waffling on Seaside itself, we'd definitely recommend it! Lots of cute shops and restaurants (some great, some just okay, all pretty pricey...check Yelp for tons of reviews!) and just a lovely place to relax. We didn't check out all the beach pavilions but I would caution families with young kids or a lot of stuff that the trek to the beach at Savannah Street involves maybe 40-50 steps so it's not conducive to using a stroller or a beach cart to lug all your gear. (On a more positive note, the beach pavilion has a well-kept, passcode-protected bathroom so you don't have to run all the way back home for that!) The only downside for us were the outdoor areas at the cottage. The small deck shown in the listing is even smaller than it appears in the photo (really not sure you could fit a comfy chair on it, actually - nothing was there during our stay) and the combination of the size/proximity of the trees in front of it and deferred maintenance (power washing and paint would go a long way!) means it's not a place you'd really want to hang out. Same goes for a larger lower level patio/deck - it's off the bathroom (!?), not private at all, and the ragged rocking chair there is not conducive to relaxation. Final quick notes: If you're a light sleeper easily bothered by car lights/noise, this may not be the best place for you because of it's proximity to 30A, but neither of us had any trouble. And the beach chairs we found were in serious disrepair - bring your own or call the Cabana Man!"

  • Great condo in a nice location!

"We had a great stay here. The walk across the street to the beach takes only a few minutes. The condo is clean and has a lot of natural light and windows to enjoy the view!"
