  • Great Family Getaway

"The minute I stepped into the Pineapple Palace I was wowed by the view to the ocean. It took my breath away. From one of the two balconies there is an outstanding view of the blue water and white, powdery sand. It's just a short boardwalk away to the beach. There were 13 of us that fit nicely into the 5 bedrooms. The kids loved the double sized bunk beds. All of the rooms are decorated beautifully in a beach theme. The beds are all comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with all of the kitchen gadgets, dishes, and cookware you would need. We cooked every meal! There is also a fresh seafood store and a bakery within walking distance along with some unique restaurants and an ice cream store. Since this was our first trip to the Palace we had a lot of questions for Mark (the owner) and he was always available and or returned our calls the same day. He was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you Mark for letting us stay in your beautiful house. We'll be back. We all agree - best vacation ever."

  • Terrific

"The house was perfect. There were 14 of us for part of the time and 12 for most of the time. The house was perfect--every bit as attractive as advertised. The adults as well as the grandchildren ages 8 to 16 loved the experience--proximity to beach, private pool and overall amenities in the house. The one observation is that 1 roll of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom are woefully inadequate for a week's stay for 14 occupants. There was only 1 small bar of soap in each bathroom--presumably it was supposed to be enough for use in the shower and at the lavatory. Also, when we arrived there were no kitchen garbage bags other than the 2 in the wastebaskets and no dishrags and tea towels in the kitchen. A call to the property manager resulted in prompt delivery of a box of garbage bags and a couple of tea towels. (I discovered that there were a couple in the laundry room .) I would rent this house again, but, considering the cost of renting, I don't think it is too much to ask for more than 1 roll of paper towels and more t.p. and bar soap--a small expense for the owner and a convenience for the renter. C.A.--Houston"

  • Very neat house with great location

"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We loved this place! There was more than enough room for just the two of us. The king size bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. We loved the big porch and the family room was perfect for relaxing in after a day on the beach. We rented a golf cart and took that everywhere. We loved that we were so close to everything yet tucked away on this peaceful little street. I was really impressed with how clean the house was and I loved that almost every detail was taken care of from the baskets full of extra blankets to a fully stocked kitchen. We would definitely go back and maybe next time take our family since there is plenty of extra room."

  • Best stay ever

"We stayed a week to celebrate my husbands birthday. It was a wonderful condo! It was like home away from home...not decorated with a million beach items!! Lots of space on tables etc. for our personal stuff. View was great, towels were soft, bed was comfortable.....what more would one want for vacation? Will be back for a month in Jan."
