  • Great Place for a Family Vacation

"We love the location of this unit. It is very convenient and we love having the grassy area for our grandson. We feel like the unit is well stocked, just wish we would have had a few more towels - I had to make sure I washed a load in the AM and again at night."

  • Leisure By The Sea

"My family and I have resided in the FWB/Destin area for nearly 30 years so we are very familiar with the local area. We wanted a place to get away and spend some family time before the kids went back to college. As I was searching VRBO for a beach home Leisure By The Sea caught my eye. The home was wonderful. The accommodations were first class with luxury linens and the rooms were beautifully decorated, everything was clean and looked fresh, very enjoyable. Plus, with the home located in a gated community you have the security and privacy for your family. The home is well equipped with all the amenities you need, just bring some steaks or get some shrimp to put on the grill. The pool is very convenient, it is right around the corner from the house. The beach access is also located nearby; there is a private boardwalk to the beach which was one of our favorite features. The boardwalk goes through the nature preserve and is covered with a canopy of trees. Then large rolling sugar white sand dunes appear with beautiful crystal blue waters. We felt like VIP's, we essentially had the beach to our selves. We rented bikes one day and rode over to Seaside and enjoyed the farmers market and took in all the scenery. Everything you could want or need is all within a 5 mile radius. Elena was a pleasure to work with, she provides all the information you will need to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Thank you Elena for sharing your home and allowing my family to make memories for a lifetime!"

  • Great house! Great location!

"My family and I could not have been happier with our decision to rent this house for a week this summer. The house itself is beautiful. It is spacious, well-decorated and a pleasure to live in. It has a definite beach cottage vibe - hardwood floors, wood paneling on the walls, big wooden deck to enjoy the ocean view. It is not a modern luxury retreat with marble and glass walls and chrome, so if that's your thing then keep searching. We like the casual cottage look and feel. But let me be clear - the house was perfectly clean and so well-maintained. Wifi worked perfectly. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious enough for two people comfortably, not like some rentals where they convert a spare closet and try to call it a bedroom. The master has a King bed. The other two bedrooms have a queen and a twin bed. There is plenty of closet space. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything you would need to cook. I almost forgot to mention the outdoor shower! That is an absolute delight after sand and surf. The location is fantastic. The house is located on a small road that runs along the coast, just across the street from the beach-front homes. But it isn't the main drag of the town with speeding cars and lights. It is indeed a very quiet street. You can look out the window and see the ocean, with an even better view from the master bedroom balcony. Access to the beach itself is so close and easy. There is a wooden walkway just two houses down to the right that takes you straight to the beach. It really is just a minute or so walk to the walkway, and then one more minute along the walkway and down the stairs to the beach. It was close enough and safe enough that the kids could walk back and forth on their own, even at night. This area is single family homes so the beach only has a few people on it at any given time (there is a lifeguard beach about 200 yards down if that makes you more comfortable). The ocean was clear and pale green. The sand was pure white powder. 30A is a nice little community. There are quaint small homes mingling with some giant modern homes. Restaurants and shops are nearby (some close enough to walk/bike, some by car). Just a couple miles away is a grocery and all the stores you would ever need. All in all, we loved it. The owner is very responsive and clearly takes the time to make this a great vacation spot. I would highly recommend and would rent there again in a heartbeat."

  • Relax in luxury!!

"We just completed our 4th trip to Adagio in this unit. Our family always has really enjoyed Adagio and specifically this unit. Adagio is really impeccable, the landscaping, pools, location, etc., nothing short of the best! The complex is immaculately kept! Everything, down to the cleanest grills you will ever use. This unit is extremely comfortable and luxurious. It is not stuffy at all, think, functional luxury. It has marble floors, countertops and master bath shower. Nice carpet in the bedrooms. The beds are very comfortable, so much so that we contemplated stealing the master bed blankets. :) We settled for checking the tags to get our own. All three bedrooms have a full bath which sure helps in getting ready for the day or a night out. We love the decorating thru out, very classy beach theming and colors. My daughter (17yrs) wanted to bring home the big rattan chair in the living room, she claimed it as hers for the trip. The kitchen is great, all you need to make great meals, which we have done several times. Do yourself a favor and make a late dinner and take it on the balcony and enjoy the sound of the pool fountain and ocean breeze while you chat about the days beach activities! Then take a stroll up the beach and watch the sunset while the surf washes over your toes. It does the body and soul good! Then watch a movie from a local Redbox on the big screen with the family while planning your next day. There are beach chairs and toys, pails, shovels, boogie boards, etc. in the condo which is very nice. Or you can rent chairs, umbrellas, bikes (at the office), kayaks, paddle boards on the beach too. Think about booking ahead for beach chairs if you come in the summer. You can online thru La Dolce Vita. You will get a list of recos for things to do and Restaurants to eat at. A couple to add for us. Brotula's restaurant was a recent find on this trip, we will be back. Right at the dock in the Destin harbor, just simply great seafood. We did the Hook and Cook which they cook fish you just caught on a charter, totally amazing! We did the Backlash charter boat, highly reco, Captain Chris Kirby, great guy. Xtreme H2O Dolphin Waverunner tour, you get 1.5hrs to split, the tour and alone time. FUN! We have always enjoyed working with Pat, just a great guy, easy to work with and extremely responsive! You simply will NOT regret staying at this condo! In fact you may be back again and again, like we have! ENJOY!"
