  • Hidden Treasure

"This was a wonderful condo, just as described in the listing, great location, walking distance to anywhere you would like to go from the beach, to the shops or restaurants. Very clean and well maintained condo and complex. One of the best perks was having the use of the 2 bikes. We really enjoyed using those. I would recommend."

  • Wonderful House, Very Close To The Beach

"My mother, grandmother, myself, and four kids (ages 7, 6, 4, and 3) all stayed here. The house is great - very clean and comfortable. This was our first time in 30A and we plan to stay here next year as well. Very close to the beach so it's not hard bringing chairs, food, sand toys, etc with you and you can quickly get back to the house if you need something. The community the house is in is beautiful and very well-maintained. Kids also enjoyed the pool, which is even closer to the house. Within easy walking distance of many restaurants and activities. We did not rent bikes this year and the children were still easily able to walk most of the places we went. The Burkes were reachable by phone or text and quickly responded to any questions I had. We hope to make this house part of a yearly vacation!"

  • Great house in a great location but crowded beach!

"The house and the neighborhood are great! The house was clean and nicely decorated. It had all of the amenities we could ask for. The neighborhood is really cute with a walkway to the pool/beach that is lined by palm trees. It is gated and very walkable. The pool was nice. It's a rectangular pool with no diving board or slide (which is ok), it is gated, and it was clean. However, the pool across 30A on the other side of Seacrest was amazing and my kids were sad they couldn't go there. Which brings me to the beach... it is beautiful! Expect to walk down a lot of stairs to get there (like most beaches in the area) but it's worth it. What is not worth it is the chair rental company that lines the entire section of beach in front of Seacrest with chairs and umbrellas which must be rented for around $65/day. This would have been almost $400 for the week and we decided our money was better spent elsewhere, but given all of the chairs and umbrellas there was not much room on the beach for people. It was crowded! Better in the mornings and evenings but in the afternoon it looked like Daytona Spring Break. We understand this is a new thing within the past year or so and hope that people will give the feedback that there are too many chairs taking up too much of the beach. One of the main reasons for the crowds (other than the aforementioned rental chairs and umbrellas) is that people who stay on the other side of 30A in Seacrest are allowed to come through the gated community and use the beach here, too. So, it's not just for the small gated neighborhood. There are a LOT of houses on that side of Seacrest, so just be aware that you can't use their really nice pool but they can use your beach. This was a busy week, I'm sure, given that it led up to 4th of July weekend, so maybe not as crowded other weeks. That being said, this is a great location just next to Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach and we may stay there again, but haven't decide which side of 30A would be better. If we stay on the beach side, we would use this house again."

  • Space, Convenience and Comfort

"The property is even larger than the pictures show. Each room is well designed and with plenty of room for our large family. The kitchen is huge with space for 6 at the counter. The dining table also seats 6. The living room furniture is oversized with plenty of room for the family to be together comfortably. The view from the dining, living and kitchen areas is spectacular. The bedrooms are all generously sized. The master closet is very large and fit our travel crib nicely. It is a very easy walk down to the beach. We were able to go up to the room as needed during the day. The beach chairs were ready to go each day. It is a quick walk to both Rosemary and Alys Beach. We were traveling with our children so we enjoyed walking to the Donut Truck in Alys and also the coffee at Fonville. At Rosemary we enjoyed the Cowgirl Kitchen and The Summer Kitchen Cafe. The Donut Hole at Inlet Beach was also great. There were several other nice restaurants and a couple of interesting looking bars for those traveling with a more grown up crew. It is an easy drive to Panama City Beach and Seaside. This is the cleanest condo we have ever stayed in. It was as clean as someone would keep their own home. The cleaning fee is a little higher than some others, but 100% worth it. We hope to return to this property for future beach trips."
