  • Relaxing

"The owners thought of EVERYTHING! Wonderful to find brochures to local restaurants (the menus helped to decide where to eat!), and umbrella to use for rainy days, a comfy blanket to cuddle up with a good book, a bar of soap for the shower, and detergent for the washing machine! These are just a few of the little things that added up to make our visit the BEST! It's as if the owner took every "Pinterest" idea to make us feel as welcomed as possible. The bikes that were left for us to use, made for added fun! Seeing as we soon found that that was the going thing:) I can't say enough good things.. Honestly the most relaxing getaway for our anniversary yet!"

  • Perfect cottage in the perfect location

"The house was very clean and well stocked upon our arrival. The neighborhood is quiet and the kids were able to safely play catch and paddle ball on the road. One of the reasons we rented this place is because of the bikes. We used them everyday to bike to the donut truck in Alys Beach and various ice cream shops along 30A. Beach chairs and beach toys are also included for use at the beach. Please be aware that there are a lot of steps down to the beach. However, all those steps help burn off the calories from ice cream and donuts! If you don't want to go to the beach, there is a heated neighborhood pool. Deana and family have thought of everything to ensure you have an enjoyable and relaxing time. I am impressed with how quickly she responds to any question or request. The caretaker, Eric, made sure everything was spotless upon arrival and provided some great advice. Last thing, if you eat out, go to The Red Bar in Grayton Beach."

  • Top notch, first class house and management!

"If you are looking for the perfect place to rent for your vacation I highly recommend "Flip Flop Therapy!" The house is amazing! Everything is top notch! This home is perfect for families because there is enough room for everyone! It was incredibly well stocked for the week! The shuttle service was great to get to the beach. The storage shed has everything you need for the beach and the bikes were great! We had a few flat tires with the bikes and simply took them down to the Peddlers Pavilion, told them we were staying at Flip Flop Therapy house and they fixed them right up and treated us like royalty. Love this home!"

  • On the beach! Perfect for multiple families!

"This is the perfect house for multiple families with children. The main house has three bedrooms (2 with private baths). Large living quarters. Kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals. They even have everything labeled so you know where to put the clean dishes. The porch is amazing! Great views of the gulf. You do have neighbors on both sides, close enough to talk to. There are 36 actual steps to get to the beach on your private stairs. The carriage house is set up really well for children old enough to stay alone. We had children from 11-20 and they all stayed every night. They loved having their own space. The game room was nice but we found they loved having their own balcony in the front and back of the carriage house to hang out. The carriage house has a full size bed with private bath, three sets of bunks with a private bath, and plenty of storage. On this same floor is a washer/dryer unit. Upstairs in the game room is two sets of bunks. No bath. The children did complain that there wasn't WIFI in the carriage house. But that is not always a bad thing. This is a great set up if your children are old enough. The only thing that would make this house better would be a pool.... Risher responded to my text very quickly with recommendations on supper. Make sure to eat Stinky's fish camp. Best meal we had all week. Thanks Risher for allowing us to stay in this magnificent home."
