  • LOVE THIS PLACE

"Pelican Circle is our home away from home! Our family has been coming to this same house now for 7 years and we love it so much. The recent updates are wonderful! If there has ever been an issue, we called William and he took care of it right away. He is so great! This bungalow will always have a special place in our hearts and will continue to be our family vacation destination. It's close to everything and to be able to walk right down to the beach is priceless."

  • Made our first visit all that much nicer!

"This was our first-ever trip to the South Walton Beach area and we were really looking forward to it. After looking at several homes we settled on the Snappy Crab for our spring break. We found the home to be very clean and a perfect fit for our family of 5 (3 teenagers). The Snappy Crab was very clean and well furnished. There were plenty of towels and kitchen utensils. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything you would need with upgraded appliances at your disposal. The floor plan was great with easy access from the front or backdoor at street/sidewalk level. (Some homes in the area require you going up a flight of steps to the entry.) When we weren't at the beach or the local shops, we were very comfortable hanging out in the 'Crab. We loved the easy access to the shops and restaurants in the area. If this is your first time, you will find a ton of stuff a short walk or bike ride away, or use the free community tram service that was mostly timely and efficient to take you to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We rented bikes and rode to the beach everyday as well as the shops at Rosemary and Aly's Beach. Incredible restaurants in the area - you don't have to go far for anything. The area is wonderfully un-commercial (no fast food or chain places in the area which makes it even nicer. Except no Starbucks - my wife had to do without for a few days...) We always felt safe and we had no reservations with having our kids go to the shops or beach on their bikes. As for the Snappy Crab, you will find it to meet all of your needs quite well. My only suggestions would be to make the AC easier to work. We never got it to come on and the house got a bit warm/stuffy. And I would recommend they add a wifi booster on the main level as the signal got kind of weak since the only hotspot was on top/third level. It worked, but it got kind of slow for us given how they set it up. Overall we had a fantastic time and fell in love with the area! We are eager to come back and we would definitely stay here again."

  • Great house, Great location!

"This neighborhood is a great location to the beach and has a great community pool. The neighborhood is not big so the pool does not get over crowded. The house was VERY clean and kept up. I had a baby crawling on the floors and can still say the house was clean! The owners are very easy to work with and respond quickly. I have 3 children ages 1 to 6 and the beach walk is very easy. You do have to cross a busy part of 30A but there is a crosswalk at the neighborhood entrance and then the beach access is approx 50 yrds from there. The backporch provides a nice place to play also. Will definitely stay again!"

  • Stylish, comfortable, and cozy rental house

"Our family very much enjoyed our stay in the house. It's beautifully furnished and updated. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen and bathrooms were great. The house is located on a dead end residential street in Seacrest, so it was very quiet and secluded from the traffic and "busy" areas which was lovely. However, that seclusion comes at a price to easy beach access. The walk from the house to the beach access is the only thing that brings my rating from a 5 star to a 4 star....the half-mile walk up the street to and from the beach access on a hot day carrying beach gear was not ideal. However, that did encourage us to drive and explore a couple of other beaches nearby that we may not have found if we had just been able to step outside and hit the nearest beach. Overall we were thrilled with the house and would come back again."
