  • Chicago Tribune Travel Section Correct!!!

"When we came home from Anchor Cliff after a wonderful week’s stay, we read the article in the Chicago Tribune Travel section entitled “Panhandle perfection.” And they were correct! Not only was our home perfect, the owners very accommodating, but the area is absolutely wonderful! We found it easy to get to by air, and lots to do while there. The home is beautifully furnished and comfortable, wonderful view and of course the beach is magnificent! “Kids running on the beach and a family having portraits shot where silhouetted against a reddish-orange sky as big golden sun sank into the Gulf.” Yes, that’s what we found as well."

  • Perfect location, perfect house

"Little Reata was the perfect rental for our long weekend. The location is close to everything, and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was easy, the pool was nice and the beach time was the best! something for everyone. we had a blast."

  • Enjoyed our stay...

"We recently stayed in Starfish for several days. The unit looked similar to pictures. The bed was very comfortable, but the sleeper sofa was not. It has a thin mattress and is held together with zip ties and straps. Hope the next improvement is a good mattress then I will up the stars. The dishes and appliances were good. Housekeeping missed cleaning shelves and trays on top of fridge, but other than that it was clean. My only real complaint would be the book that had tons of recommendations for eating/activities and a map was severely out of date. Map, dated 2009, showed beach access that was closed, so DON'T try to find any in Aly's Beach and check to see if restaurant is still in business...many have changed. The tram to get you back and forth to the beach was friendly and comes if you call. Never saw it when needing to go home, so we walked quite a bit. If you have lots of gear you might want to look for a closer location. It's two blocks to the opening then almost the same to the beach. Lovely area, felt safe, enjoyed the beach!!! Oh, and the beach access is private so vendors try to require you to rent chairs/umbrellas instead of bringing your own. We found that if we went to the 3rd vendor to the left the prices dropped significantly! Restaurants were good/pricey/and had longs waits. George's was nice, a bit warm on the sunny side inside, pricey, but yummy! Several grocery stores just a short drive East, as well as a CVS and some fast food. Several places to buy trinkets and tee shirts, but much less expensive in Panama City Beach."

  • Wonderful Home for Families

"We stayed here with two teenagers and everyone really enjoyed the accommodations and had a great time. The house is convenient to the Seacrest Beach restaurant and shopping area, and directly adjacent to Rosemary Beach where there is a larger restaurant and shopping district. We enjoyed walking everywhere, renting bikes, the beach, the pool, and exploring the various communities on Route 30A. This house served us well with everyone having plenty of room, the kitchen was well appointed, and the views from the top floor was just wonderful."
