  • Girls Beach trip

"We just recently stayed here for our annual girls getaway. The place was excellent for us. We had 12 and we come from all over and meet down there once a year. So it was great place for us to be all together and just be us and have our own private pool. We have been doing this for 30 years and this has been the most successful place we have stayed. We hope to be back again same time next year! Thank you for your home."

  • Lovely Time

"My college girlfriends and I just returned from a vacation at this property. We all loved the cozy and quaint feel of the house. The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful for walks, with a thick tree canopy that keeps you a little cooler than out by the beach. The beach and Seaside town center were an incredibly easy walk and we loved wandering around the super cute streets of Sea Grove, Seaside, and Watercolor. The 4 bikes they provide were a huge plus as well. We had a little trouble with the wifi, but only because of a power surge, but the owner was incredibly responsive in helping us fix it and we eventually got it working. I'm hoping to come back someday and bring my family!"

  • Nice for groups but not small children

"We had a group of 20. 13 kids & 7 adults. We were the first to arrive, and found water in one of the main floor baths. We assumed the cleaning crew hadn't finished mopping, so we handled it. Up to the main floor, and found a doorknob on the mantel. The garbage outside was overflowing. A rep from Beach Reunion came by to fix some things. We went back to the bathroom. More water on the floor. There was a leak somewhere, he said he would look into it. That bathroom, off the pool, was almost unusable most of the week because of the random water. We were a group of 20, now down to 4 full baths. The towel bars and missing door knobs were apparently the work of the guests before us. A spring break party group by the sounds of it. Remember the garbage? Made sense. The first night, about 11 pm. the stove burners tried to turn themselves on. All 5. In tandem. When everyone was in bed. Maintenance came after about 45 minutes and turned off the breaker. He told us this had never happened before, and he would get a repair guy out. On Sunday (Easter) the repair man came and said this happens all the time at this house. He didn't have the part, so to use the stove we would have to flip the breaker on, let the flame ignite, and then turn the breaker on. Ok. The 2nd night there, half the house gets stomach flu. (spring break group leave some germs behind?) We went to Publix, disinfected the house top to bottom, and tried to enjoy the trip. A few nights later, we are using the oven. While it is on, the breaker flips off. We check the fuses and it is the only item on the breaker. The elevator? never got to use it. It was locked when we got there, and asked the 3rd or 4th guy who came to fix stuff about it and he said he unlocked it. Wasn't about to call again because I honestly had had it. I went to get an extra pillow from the closet. There were pillows, no cases. & the pillows were dirty. We saw plenty of bugs. Whether it was just regular Florida-ness or more than that, I can't say. Never saw bugs that big in any other rental. House gets 4 stars because it is close to the beach--perfect beach access, a media room, a pool table and a nice pool area out back. The grill was nice, the fridge outside was a nice treat once we got it turned on. Beach Reunion was apologetic & reactive. It is not child friendly for small kids. Lots of glass and knick-knacks. We put things away & still had a table crack while eating lunch."

  • Excellent Beach Week

"We had 6 couples + 2 babies & this house worked very well for us. It was difficult to find a house for 6 couples without putting someone in a bunk room & this met our needs perfectly. The beach was a short walk. The living room & pool were much larger than they appeared in the photos. Having our own pool was a bonus & it was nice that it was fenced off since we had young children in our group. There a lot of nice amenities included that weren't listed on the vrbo site: 2 dish washers, 2nd fridge downstairs, a gas grill, outdoor shower, some beach chairs, pool floats, baby gates, a pack-n-play, etc. The only negative was that the TV in the downstairs den didn't work."
