  • Wonderful experience!

"We LOVED this unit! The living room, dining room and kitchen have an open feel and it was perfect for our family of 5. We didn’t feel crammed in. My daughter really enjoyed putting puzzles together while my son and husband were watching tv in the evenings – we could all be together without being on top of each other. The balcony is awesome! We enjoyed coffee out there almost every morning of our visit. We had lunch at the table on the balcony because there was a nice breeze to keep us from being too hot. The beach had some small pools when the tide was out which my kids enjoyed playing in. The beach didn’t get super crowded, so we had room to spread out and play, build sandcastles and throw a ball. We had a wonderful vacation and will definitely be back to stay in this unit."

  • Beautiful Home

"This home is beautiful and super comfortable. The decor is fresh and new but not too stuffy. All of the furniture is in great condition and there is plenty of vignettes for hanging out as a group or to perch and read a book. There are four bikes for you to use, beach chairs and wagons. Cafe 30A is walking distance as is the Donut Hole and Tom Thumb. We will definitely ask to rent again for next year's half marathon! The patio is lovely and the upstairs deck is a great bonus."

  • Excellent Beach Adventure

"We had a blissful week at the beach, with a large family group ranging in age from 3 months to 64 years! Renting both sides, there were opportunities to be as together or as apart as anyone wished to be, and even the teens had spaces to claim as their own. For the adults, who have visited this part of the Gulf for 20+ years, we especially enjoyed the feel of a beach home on a private dirt road, which felt miles from the bustle of 30A. We gathered on the deck each morning to share coffee, and watch dolphins play in the surf. One morning we were delighted to see a manatee amble up the coast! We watched the children on bicycles in front of the house, and never worried about traffic. Yet we were one small block away from the best of anything anyone would want or need during a week of vacation. (The only thing we didn't do was move our cars!) The kitchens were fully stocked for the chefs in the family, and the full sized laundry rooms were just what we needed with kids. Typically, after a successful rental experience, we can't wait to tell all of our friends and co-workers about our beach house. This year, we don't want to tell anyone! We just want to keep it our little secret! Seriously, it was perfect for us, and wonderful memories were made."

  • August 2016 Stay

"This, house/ property was honestly beyond expectation! 5 adults, 2 kids stayed and it was not crowded at all! We loved how the house felt secluded. Private pool, outside shower, hammock, ocean access (the wagon was a life savor)-everything was amazing! Highly, highly recommend Sugar Magnolia, we hope to make this a yearly trip!"
