  • Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful

"We stayed here to attend a medical conference nearby, and I honestly cannot say enough great things about this condo and resort! Upon arrival to the resort, the staff were noted to be very attentive and helpful. The resort grounds were beautiful and immaculately maintained. The resort amenities were numerous and included multiple pools, as well as a pool bar and grill. (The food here, by the way, was wonderful - great burgers)! The 3rd floor condo had beautiful views of the beach and pool, with a spacious balcony. The location of the condo could not have been any better, with easy access to the parking garage and the elevator. The layout of the condo was perfect for families, with the master bedroom "tucked away" on its own wing. The condo was clean and well-equipped, with everything one could possibly need/want and more! The owner was very attentive, kind, and easy to work with! I HIGHLY recommend this condo to anyone looking to have a wonderful, relaxing time on a beautiful beach! Thank you, Susan, for an awesome get-away! We will certainly return!"

  • Better than Expected!!

"This was our first vacation without our kids in almost 30 years, so we were really looking for something special and after an extensive search we ran across this wonderful little oasis. This unit is spacious, beautifully decorated and well maintained. We loved sitting out on the huge double balcony eating breakfast and enjoying the picture perfect view. The three pools are big and crystal clear, plus one is also a zero entry pool. It's just a short walk the white sandy private beach and a short drive to numerous attractions and resturants. Diane was so easy to work with and quickly answered any question we had and made the whole trip a breeze. This was a trip to remember and we will definitely be back. Thanks Diane!"

  • Fun, relaxing Fall Break at the Beach

"Staying at "Hold Your SeaHorses" for our family Fall break (last week of Sept) was fun and relaxing. First of all, the weather is very much "Summer" but the beach crowd is definitely "Fall." Staying at "Hold Your Seahorses" in Old Florida Village was perfect for our active family of five (mom, dad, grandma, and 3 boys -- high & middle school students plus a 4 year old!). The house gave everyone his own space (and bathroom) without us feeling like we couldn't keep tabs on the kids. The property is accurately described in the VRBO description & photos. The owner, Rick, was friendly, responsive and professional throughout our entire experience. Let me tell you....there's nothing you need to bring other than your swimsuit, sunscreen & PJs when you stay at this property. You'll find well over 20 high quality beach towels, a fully stocked kitchen (with enough dishes for 2 meals a day), and a shed FULL of beach goodies! We referred to the shed as the "beach cornucopia" as it stores a beach wagon, an assortment of Tommy Bahama beach chairs that were too numerous to count, boogie boards, sand pails & shovels, and several umbrellas. We happily used the house's booster seat at the dining table with our youngest and noticed 2-3 baby gates are also provided. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach from the house...perfect for 5 of us but a little long for grandma. The public beach access has a nice picnic area, bathrooms, and parking for about ten cars and 4-5 golf carts. The lot was empty during our week but I bet it fills up quickly during Summer. There are two neighborhood pools with one being about 100' from the house. Both are on the small side but we had them to ourselves during the week of our stay...and really, with a 4 year old, our time was spent on the pool steps. The neighborhood is very quiet and I would have no reservation allowing my kids to explore on their own (well, not the 4 year old...). Thank you, Hold Your SeaHorses, for the good memories!"

  • On the beach! Perfect for multiple families!

"This is the perfect house for multiple families with children. The main house has three bedrooms (2 with private baths). Large living quarters. Kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals. They even have everything labeled so you know where to put the clean dishes. The porch is amazing! Great views of the gulf. You do have neighbors on both sides, close enough to talk to. There are 36 actual steps to get to the beach on your private stairs. The carriage house is set up really well for children old enough to stay alone. We had children from 11-20 and they all stayed every night. They loved having their own space. The game room was nice but we found they loved having their own balcony in the front and back of the carriage house to hang out. The carriage house has a full size bed with private bath, three sets of bunks with a private bath, and plenty of storage. On this same floor is a washer/dryer unit. Upstairs in the game room is two sets of bunks. No bath. The children did complain that there wasn't WIFI in the carriage house. But that is not always a bad thing. This is a great set up if your children are old enough. The only thing that would make this house better would be a pool.... Risher responded to my text very quickly with recommendations on supper. Make sure to eat Stinky's fish camp. Best meal we had all week. Thanks Risher for allowing us to stay in this magnificent home."
