  • Perfect Location!

"This house was perfect for our week long family vacation. Gardner's Eden location couldn't have been better, steps from the beach and Seaside! It was so nice to be on a quiet street with the option to walk into Seaside for shopping and dining. The house was decorated beautifully and the front porch was heaven for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The living and dining area was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, a great space for cooking in and pre-dinner appetizers. Beds and pillows were comfortable and each bathroom was large enough for couples and/or multiple children. Overall, we LOVED this house and can not wait to come back next year!"

  • Great Location, Private Beach and Just Delightful

"What a joy working with Tom and Carla. Our menu included using a crock-pot; however, upon arrival there was none to be found. We asked Debbie, the Unit Manager if she had on and she promptly purchased one for our use. This was totally unexpected and we certainly didn't what anyone to do that, she went the extra mile to make our stay even better. Future families will certainly benefit from this nice perk. Be sure to include this on the "List of Amenities". As far as the unit is was absolutely perfect for our family. There is nothing I could suggest to improve the property. This was a second stay at Walton Dunes and our first at "Sea Shell on the Beach", but certainly not our last. We hope to return next year."

  • great for families

"For once in a long while, our family of 5 took a beach vacation on our own, without a larger group. Beachfront Townhomes was exactly what we needed. The townhome was in very good repair, was comfortable, and was well appointed. The location is perfect if you are seeking a low-density area that is still near destinations like Seaside and Sandestin. Any quibbles we had were minor; so much so that I fear I'd sound spoiled rotten to mention them. I loved how the owners left notes and reminders around for all kinds of things (like how to operate the remotes for the TV/DVD/etc), as well as a binder full of local attractions, restaurants and services. The washer and dryer are a big plus, though I wish they had been on the main floor (spoiled rotten). The beach/ocean view is excellent, and the walk is just 20 yards longer than a direct boardwalk from the back door. There is a low-rise next door, but it does not make the beach crowded. The kids loved the included beach toys, rafts, and floats, and I was happy not to have to bring beach chairs and umbrellas all the way from home. Our kids said "Can we stay here EVERY time we come to the beach?"... they didn't really even miss the fact that there wasn't a pool on site. I do wish the decks were a LITTLE more private, but at the same time, we thought that the current setup would be great if we had friends staying in the townhome next door and could effectively "share" the back deck with them. Maybe we'll try to set that up next time, because we will definitely try to book here again."
