  • The Vacation Home One Only Dreams About!!!!

"My wife and I met other family members at Sea-Esta to spend some nice family-time together and to enjoy the wonderful beach and weather. This home is located on a secluded, tree-lined street, only a 3-minute walk from the beach (walk down the pretty tree-lined street, through the pool complex, to the wooden walkway to the beach). It was hard to for us Pittsburghers to believe that the temperatures could be in the mid/upper-80's during mid-October with sunny skies almost every day. The ocean water was relatively warm and the beach sands were whiter than we've ever seen in all of our beach travels through the USA, Caribbean and South America. In addition, the home is part of a community that has access to two swimming pools on the way to the beach. One is frequented by lots of families and the other tends to be a little quieter and mostly used by adults - Both beautiful pools! The street has an automatic gate headed out to 30A, so impossible for anyone that doesn't belong to use the home's street, Ryan St., as a through road. The only gateless opening is to the much quieter Eastern Lake Road, en route to the beach. This makes the street much quieter and safer for kids who might want to bike on that street. The home is extremely well-appointed and its obvious that the owner has not spared any expense. From the marble kitchen and bathroom counters, to the tiled bathrooms, to the big screen TV's in every bedroom, to the exquisite furnishings. It's hard to believe that this is a vacation home (which normally would be furnished with more mid-level furniture). The ice maker in the kitchen (in addition to the ice maker in the fridge), is a great touch for those hot weeks when everyone wants ice in their soft drinks, smoothies and cocktails! The kitchen has a full fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, and all of the cooking utensils (ie, pots, pans, glasses, dishes, silverware, etc.) that one would need for the week. The owners were also kind enough to supply beach equipment that otherwise would need to be rented (ie, beach umbrellas, bikes, sand toys, soccer balls, etc.). This nice touch also helps renters to keep a little more $$ in their pockets. The location is perfect with close access to restaurants, shops, etc - Much of it reachable by bicycle and/or car. In summary, I would recommend this beautiful beach home to anyone that is considering renting a home in the Florida Panhandle region. You won't regret it!"

  • Our get away

"This is a beautiful house and the beach access is terrific. The bedrooms are spacious and king size beds with great bathrooms. Kitchen and family room are well done and views to the ocean are breathtaking. There is also a downstairs with additional space for seating and watching TV plus playing games inside. The patio has more game tables, grill and lots of space for relaxing. Best part is the ability to walk down to the beach from the balcony and patio within maybe 50-100 feet. This is truly the best location as it is off the beat and track but so easy to ride bikes to Seaside and Rosemary beach. Highly recommend renting this house."

  • Great condo -- wonderful time!

"From the moment we arrived, we knew that we were at a perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy. The condo was stylishly furnished, yet comfortable at the same time. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, the beds were great, and there were plenty of linens. The master bath with jetted tub and the walk-in closet in the master suite were a plus. The kitchen was open concept with a huge island that had a nice overhang for seating. There were lots of dishes, glasses, utensils, cutlery, pots and pans, serving trays, and just about every kind of kitchen gadget you could imagine. Very well stocked. The dining room table was large enough to accommodate 8 or more people. The owner also included beach towels which came in handy at the huge pool at the complex and at the beach. There were also some beach toys, etc., in the closet for our use. There was a large flat screen TV in the living room, as well as flat screen TVs in every bedroom (with Direct TV service). We've stayed in other units in this same complex, but this unit is the one with the best view of the ocean. We enjoyed hanging out on our balcony to have our coffee or beverage. In the evenings, we could sit and look at the stars and listen to the waves. Very relaxing. Even though this is not an ocean-front condo, it is a very short walk on the private path to the beach. We incurred no problems getting to and from the beautiful beach each day. The condo was very clean and all appliances worked like a charm. The complex grounds and pool are very well maintained. Besides going to the beach, we could walk right outside the back of the condo parking lot into a Florida state park which had lots and lots of walking paths to explore. The pines, magnolias, saw palmettos, and other trees and plants were something to behold. We definitely recommend this condo and all it has to offer. Goatfeathers is the place we go to buy fresh shrimp and have them steamed. Perfect Pig is just a few steps from the complex and has great food. We enjoy Happy Hour at The Great Southern in the town plaza at Seaside. The fresh oysters on the half shell are great. They also have many other succulent menu items. For sure, try their smoked gouda grits. Bud & Alley's in Seaside is a wonderful place to have a nice meal/drinks and watch the sunset view. Also, drive west on 30a and try Stinky's, the Vue and Chanticleer's. So many great places, can't begin to mention them all. Just an awesome vacation spot and CONDO!"
