  • Loved the Chip and Joanna Gaines inspired remodel

"We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The layout was unique and fun. We had breakfeast around the center island every day and brought the family together. The loft was perfect for the two teens, with just enough privacy. It was also close enough to the beach, we felt like it was our own neighborhood walking down the crush shell road to the beach. Comparing it to Seaside, it felt less pretensious. We love this little area. Thank you to the owners for allowing their vacation home to be shared with others. * Property was clean and well maintained. * Michelle was very helpful with questions before we arrived. I would reccomend this house to our friends."

  • Birthday celebration

"I rented this house for the week to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday with her 2 best friends. They absolutely loved the charm and coziness vibe this home has. I loved the step down kitchen with the coolest updated appliances. The lay out of the home is very nice with plenty of room to move around but yet it has that homey feel. We loved gathering in the farmhouse style dining room table for dinner and to play board games. (I would recommend to have some on hand) we had to purchase the ones we played. The bike ride to seaside is less then 5 minutes away and its a beautiful scenic ride. Unfortunately for us it rained the entire week we were there so we only got to use her beautiful pool once and sat outside on the porch once. Both are very welcoming to enjoy, there is even a barbecue outside by the pool but the rain never let us fully enjoy the outside amenities. If there was ever any break from the rain we ran outside to take advantage of the town and beach. All I can say is if there was any house to be stuck in for a whole week because of rain I'm glad it was this one. It was a home away from home. Because of the beautiful landscaping surrounding this home we just pretend to be in a cabin in the woods instead on a beach vacation. We definitely hope to return next year and try it again it was all worth it (family time) rain or shine."

  • Seagrove Dreaming

"Stop looking for the perfect beach rental because Barbie's Beach house is just that! Barbie's Beach house is privately tucked away yet only a mere 100 yards from the ocean and located in the heart of all the best restaurants and activities located on the 30A. When you enter the property you immediately feel you are in the heart of Seaside with the watercolor turquoise and pink house paint, the cobblestone drive and pathways, and the perfectly manicured yard. My husband and I have stayed in the area for 3 years now and visit friends that stay in Seaside and Rosemary beaches; I can state with confidence that this house is more convenient, comfortable, and financially more reasonable than any of the previous homes we have stayed in or even visited; and, although the beach was populated I never felt crowded or as though we did not have any elbow room in the water and at our umbrella. Ted Densmore is first class all the way; his mission was to ensure that our stay was high quality and this was evident through his restaurant recommendations and personal accessibility when I had questions. I could write a book about the adorable decor of the home, the hospitality of the dessert upon arrival, and the perfect location but I also realize the purpose of this review is to assist the consumer with booking a home; therefore, I bulleted the main points that may be of interest to other families. 1. LOCATION! This house is in Seagrove Beach but less than a mile from Seaside, 3 miles to Watercolor, and approximately 7 miles from Rosemary. In addition to the general location the house is approximately 100 yards from the beach access which is convenient for families with young children. 2. AMENITIES; the amenities of this home are first class. There is a grill deck with a nice gas grill. There is a private pool and this was clutch with our kids. The shed has beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, pool toys, sand toys, and general supplies required for upkeep. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a bar hutch for evening drinks. 3. DECORATIVE & COMFORTABLE; the beds were comfortable and the sheets were soft. There is also lots of storage space for organizing beach supplies, clothes, and shoes. In closing, there are homes designed only for "rental" and homes designed to ensure a perfect experience for a renter. It is evident Ted and his wife designed a home they love and in turn share their home so other families make memories of a lifetime. Thank you!"
