  • Great location + Clean condo + Responsive owner = Wonderful Vacation!

"This was our first experience with VRBO and it certainly won't be our last. This condo was clean, well appointed and exactly as described. One of us is a great cook and although she had to do without her fancy gadgets she was able to cook a respectable meal with the items provided in the kitchen. There was plenty of room in the apartment. We traveled with 2 adults and 3 messy kids and we had room to stretch out and plenty to spare plus a nice, large balcony to enjoy during the evening. There is a pool if sand is not your thing. The beds were comfortable and everything was in perfect working order. This is a beach condo not the Waldorf Astoria, so don't expect excessive luxury or cabana boys with margaritas! It could use a tiny bit of freshening up-carpet/paint, but I'd stay here again in a heartbeat and I'm pretty picky-or so I've been told! The owner, Melissa, is wonderful and was able to point us to fun activities and great restaurants. She is really on top of things and quick to respond with a phone call or text. A funny anecdote, we had to contact her because the folks above us apparently outfitted their 3 small kids with steel soled boots and conducted relay races at 10:20 pm! Within 5 minutes she had contacted the unit's owner and the festivities were shut down! No noise issues after that! The location of this condo is great. The beach was a five minute walk across the street. Also, across the street was a rental place where we got our backpack beach chairs, umbrella and our bikes. In the same shopping center there is a good little donut shop and a gourmet Popsicle place. Next door to the condo there is an Italian restaurant named Angelina's that is terrific! Again, all this and more within walking distance. It was a 15-20 minute bike ride-flat terrain, wide bike path-into Seaside. If you ride at night you might want to bring small flashlights to zip tie to your bike. There is quite a bit of traffic into that area but it moves at 25 mph most of the time. Biking seems to be the preferred method of transportation but you can find parking in Seaside with a little patience. While you are there don't miss the Key Lime Pie with a mile high meringue at Great Southern, the chocolate sea salt fudge at the fudge place in the center of town, and the fantastic gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches at The Meltdown food truck. You can't go wrong with this condo! It is clean, perfectly located and a great place to come home to after a beach day!"

  • Our family loved this ranch style beach house!

"It's been very hard to find a one story beach house for our family vacation in Seagrove. We were all very pleased with everything! It's so beautifully decorated and we felt comfortable right away. It was well stocked so were were able to cook a lot. This area in Seagrove has a special place in our hearts. We feel that it's almost like a hidden gem close to everything but much more peaceful. Everything was so clean which was a huge relief for my OCD with cleanliness. It allowed me to actually relax! We have decided we will make this our yearly beach house go to! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home. We made some pretty great memories!"

  • Peaceful Pines

"We had a marvelous week staying at this lovely home in the NatureWalk Community. The house features a beautiful fully screened porch with a lovely view over the pond, where we could relax with a refreshing drink nearly anytime during the day. There were 3 large bedrooms, (one with a king-sized bed, two with queen-sized beds, each having a flat screen television in the room), and one bunk bed room. There was plenty of closet space and furniture to hold clothing, etc. The large living area with a beautiful kitchen featured just about any amenity that one could desire. The upstairs features a sitting area with a mounted flat screen television, located next to the glass doors that lead to the screened in porch, so that adults could easily enjoy the outdoor view while keeping an eye on the kids if they are entertained by the television. Shampoo/soap, towels and fully made beds were supplied upon arrival and there was easy code access to the house via garage. Four bikes with helmets for use were included. There is an easy walk to the beach along a set path which begins just across the street by the pond, and ends on a road that takes you directly to the beach access. Two pools and a hot tub for community use are located close to the house as well. This development is convenient to a grocery store, liquor store and pizza shop. I can’t speak more highly of this lovely home and we look forward to returning sometime in the near future."

  • Great House for Large Groups

"The Wimway house is the perfect setup for families and couples. The house was very clean and inviting. We loved just being a few steps from the white sandy beaches and beautiful waters of Seagrove. Wimway is a easy bike ride or quick drive to anywhere on 30A. Susan is wonderful to work with and made us feel right at home. Our group can't wait to return!!"
