  • Everything you want and need!

"We stayed for a week in August and loved the location and the view. Coop and Peggy have furnished this condo with all the extra things you need. When we arrived there were paper products, soap and coffee filters, so we did not have to run to the store immediately! The dishwasher is top notch and very quiet. . This location is perfect for a small dog as there is a grassy patch right outside the door! We will return!"

  • Amazing Vacation...upgraded interior, exceptional ocean view

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Compared to other units at Crescent this unit's interior had been nicely upgraded to include granite countertops. The view from the third floor was spectacular. Having beach chairs and umbrella service (set up for you) was a added bonus that we really enjoyed. The management were more than accommodating by granting several specific requests we made. The only complaint, which is really just a personal preference, is that both of the king size beds were too soft for our liking. There is a seafood restaurant next door that we enjoyed eating at several times that you can access from the beach. The water in the ocean was super clear and beautiful."

  • Great place, with a few caveats

"My husband and I just returned from five lovely, albeit rainy, days at Following Seas in Seaside. We were very happy with the cottage - it is a perfect proximity to the downtown area and the beach, and we found it clean, comfortable and well-appointed. We needed to call Seaside Vacations twice for minor questions (trouble logging into the wifi and a minor maintenance issue) and were impressed with the kind and prompt service we received from Matt, and I forgot a few books in the cottage and Gina from Seaside worked quickly to mail them back to me. If you're waffling on Seaside itself, we'd definitely recommend it! Lots of cute shops and restaurants (some great, some just okay, all pretty pricey...check Yelp for tons of reviews!) and just a lovely place to relax. We didn't check out all the beach pavilions but I would caution families with young kids or a lot of stuff that the trek to the beach at Savannah Street involves maybe 40-50 steps so it's not conducive to using a stroller or a beach cart to lug all your gear. (On a more positive note, the beach pavilion has a well-kept, passcode-protected bathroom so you don't have to run all the way back home for that!) The only downside for us were the outdoor areas at the cottage. The small deck shown in the listing is even smaller than it appears in the photo (really not sure you could fit a comfy chair on it, actually - nothing was there during our stay) and the combination of the size/proximity of the trees in front of it and deferred maintenance (power washing and paint would go a long way!) means it's not a place you'd really want to hang out. Same goes for a larger lower level patio/deck - it's off the bathroom (!?), not private at all, and the ragged rocking chair there is not conducive to relaxation. Final quick notes: If you're a light sleeper easily bothered by car lights/noise, this may not be the best place for you because of it's proximity to 30A, but neither of us had any trouble. And the beach chairs we found were in serious disrepair - bring your own or call the Cabana Man!"
