  • Fantastic!

"We had a wonderful vacation this year at this home! The house is appointed beautifully and was super duper clean upon our arrival. The owners are very accommodating and were available immediately when we had questions. The back porch with the tv is totally awesome! I couldn't pull my husband away from there. This house comfortably houses 4 maybe six (inlaw's/parents) if the kids don't plan on hanging out in the family room with the adults much. We would definitely return and stay here again!"

  • Huge comfortable retreat by the beach

"Don't let the distance to the beach scare you, as the private gated entrance to the beach seems literally right around the block from the house, surely not even a whole small subdivision block. The small pool in front is so inviting after that short walk back on nice paved streets and boardwalks. Even during the peak beaching season, the private beach was so much less crowded than other area beaches and very well kept. The house is just past the Destin/county line, so the beach is essentially in the Destin area. So, the pictures on the website make this house look huge, but it actually seems larger in person than in the pictures! The website shows the house sleeps 12, but I can tell you that 12 people would not feel crowded in the least. The two full master bedroom suites on the first and second floors have newly remodeled sink-in tub baths, such that two couples could stay there and not feel jealous of the other's accommodations. The house is very comfortable and relaxing. The management company seems to have a good feel for what the guests need and when. When we arrived, the trash from the previous tenants had not been taken to the street (just like in a subdivision, the trash pickup is twice a week) which didn't bother me much other than we were going to bag and take it out. But then, when we managed to lock ourselves out of the house the next morning (despite the three extra keys inside on handy plastic bracelets), Eboni at Vacation Happily made an extra trip to meet us to open the house. When she arrived and say the trash she said that was unacceptable. Within 30 minutes a fellow came out to bag and take away the trash. We had no problems with the house at all, but I imagine if an occupant did, the service would be responsive and satisfactory. The unit was well stocked, and while we didn't think we had enough towels, once we looked through the closets in the four and a half bathrooms found all we needed. You should bring beach towels though, if you come. There are two there for use, but of course, we needed more. I would have no problem staying here with several families and would recommend this house for older folks as well who need more steady walking surfaces to walk to the beach. And, of course, the Miramar Beach cannot be beat for the fine white sand and cool emerald water."

  • Great location

"We had a great stay! Nicely decorated with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. We stayed for just a few days and wished it could have been longer. It's location is ideal. A quick walk to the beach, and access to two pools, with one just steps away. We rode bikes to Seaside and loved it! We found most of our gatherings were around the dining table, as we were always out and about, but could come back and the teenagers just loved the 3rd floor bedroom, with their own bathroom. I would add I enjoyed the balcony in the morning, could access right from my bedroom, it was great. I would stay here again and the property manager was helpful as well."

  • A great relaxed home close to the beach

"A great and relaxed home for our short four day stay. It had everything we needed for my elderly parents and myself. TVs and open plan kitchen/living space allowed for us to be together but gave us privacy as well. The house does need a bit of attention (minor stuff like handles, burnt bulbs, ripped screen, scuffs, etc) but overall a great place. A decent walk to the beach and close to the pool, although being December did not use it. I could imagine during the summer the proximity of the homes makes for a livelier atmosphere but we enjoyed the quiet. Thanks again for a great experience"
