  • Beautiful!

"This place was beautiful! The condo was so nice, and it was on the lake, which was beautiful! We loved it. Everything was clean and we had all the information we needed. Anywhere you could think you need to go was close. We did not have to drive far for anything! The bed is very comfortable!! My husband and I are definitely going back with our boys!"

  • I would highly recommend staying here

"I would not say it sleeps 25. The correct # would be 14. Adult couples would account for 10, 2 in each of the 5 bedrooms. The bunk room is right off the garage and it is really not a room. It is perfect for kids though. I would say 4 should sleep there. You could have them share the bottom bunk and make it 6. That would require kids sleeping together. We had 5 couples and 2 kids. It worked out perfect. 2 more kids would be fine in my opinion. Everything was excellent. Nothing to complain about. The elevator is a little tricky, so don't count on it. It works fine, just needs to be done correctly and that takes everyone knowing what to do. If one doesn't, it'll stay on a floor and not move. It is decorated great. Kitchen is awesome. Outside kitchen is awesome! Pool is perfect. Watching TV in the jacuzzi is cool. Have fun on your stay!"

  • Our Family Get Away

"We spent a week in this wonderful house. It offered our family everything we needed for a terrific week together. We appreciated the reviews because they offered helpful hints to get us started so please read them all. The owner is more than helpful. If you have questions or need help she is a call away. We visited several of the restaurants listed in her final letter and found them as recommended. My sons and husband played golf at Kelly Plantation and were very pleased. My daughter in law scheduled parasailing for us as well as a morning Cattywampus snorkeling and catamaran adventure looking for dolphins and sea turtles. The kids loved the beach and the private pool. We rented two umbrellas and four chairs at the beach for the week. They were set up and waiting for us every morning. There were at least two beach chairs in the garage so we had more than enough seating at the beach for 6 adults and the 3 kids at any one time. The patio and the view is gorgeous. I suggest if you come into Destin before the 4:00 check in that you prepare to spend time at Henderson Beach State Park. We flew into Panama City and after a 50 minute drive into Destin we all played in the ocean . This was the perfect way to spend a few hours waiting for Lily Pad. There are restrooms in the pavilions which also has tables. There is everything you need along HWY 98. That was the perfect way to spend our first hours in Destin. As I said each review will give you more info for your stay. By the way the snow cones at the original Dewey's are unbelievable! The ones with the ice cream inside--yummy!!"

  • Tennessee Traveler

"Villa Vittoria is a beautiful home on Destin's beautiful beach. It was the perfect place for my family of 16. We all really enjoyed the private pool overlooking the beach. Being right on the beach was a big plus, and we had a wonderful time. The house lacks a lot of tlc. The pictures on the website are deceiving. Most of the furniture is outdated and very uncomfortable. The beds, as mentioned in previous reviews, are very noisy. After checking it out, I believed it together box springs. The sleeper sofa in the room on the top was broken, thus taking away one of our family member's beds. Three toilets were leaking as well as the shower on the patio. The gas grill, as mentioned in previous reviews, still has not been replaced; although we were able to use it. Ocean Reef was very anxious to help us and responded quickly. They checked about repairs and replacing the sleeper sofa, but the owners declined. Ocean Reef did bring us two rollaway beds. The shower on the patio was completely shut off leaving us without a way to wash the sand off when coming in from the beach. I understand the owners getting frustrated with replacing things because so many people just don't care and don't realize or care that they are staying in someone's home. But for the amount charged for this rental, I feel the accommodations should have been better. We were also told that the elevator in the home had been deactivated for liability reasons. A person with a handicap could not stay in this house because of all the stairs."
