"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was awesome and had a great view of the gulf! A private elevator drops you off right into the condo. There is a nice audio system, but bring an aux cord if you want to play your own list as it does not have bluetooth capabilities. It would be nice if this condo came with VIP beach chairs and an umbrella for the length of the stay. (the condo price warrants it). It's $50 a day to rent on the beach, not $26 as printed on paper in condo. Internet wasn't working so I called the management company and Michelle was very responsive and helped get it working over the phone. The pool is very nice, but grab your spot early as folks tend to claim the prime spots early in the morning. Overall the Condo is clean and very spacious. It has a regular coffee maker and had enough filters for our stay, but bring your own coffee. Other notes: Stay away from the parasailing, we only got 4+ minutes in the air for $65 a person so it's not worth it. If you arrive late in the evening and plan on getting groceries, wait until morning. Walmart across the street was a zoo around 7pm on a Sunday. Also has a Publix and a Winn Dixie not too far away. The Harbor Walk is pretty cool, but a traffic nightmare getting in and out. Park across the street by Whataburger or down the street on same side after 6pm. On Thursday evenings around 9pm you can see the Harbor Fireworks from 2nd and 3rd bedroom balconies (partial view)."

"The place was wonderful, right on the beach. The view from every room is beautiful. Everything is close by, water activities and shopping areas. Our kids enjoyed the pools and the beach. The water was clear. The umbrella service was great we didn't have to carry anything out there except our personal things. They would set your umbrella and chairs and take them down as well. Just make sure to go scan your key early to get front row. The condo was well decorated and the owner was wonderful. He made sure we had all the information before we arrived. Thank you Terry."

"First there is Destin no matter where you stay: Best beaches, best shopping, best restaurants Second St Maarten 503: Great condo on the beach. Great views of the beach and pool from the patio, watched dolphins swim by. Walking distance to two great restaurants, The Back Porch and Ruths Chris. Three bedroom accommodations where all three bedrooms have their own bathroom. Tastefully furnished. Even though we stayed in the middle of spring break it was quiet. Been staying in Destin for over 20 years. Discovered St Maarten last year but stayed on 2nd floor where there is no beach view. We decided then to come back to St Maarten and stay on a higher floor. So glad we did and we will definitely book here again."

"Villa Vittoria is a beautiful home on Destin's beautiful beach. It was the perfect place for my family of 16. We all really enjoyed the private pool overlooking the beach. Being right on the beach was a big plus, and we had a wonderful time. The house lacks a lot of tlc. The pictures on the website are deceiving. Most of the furniture is outdated and very uncomfortable. The beds, as mentioned in previous reviews, are very noisy. After checking it out, I believed it together box springs. The sleeper sofa in the room on the top was broken, thus taking away one of our family member's beds. Three toilets were leaking as well as the shower on the patio. The gas grill, as mentioned in previous reviews, still has not been replaced; although we were able to use it. Ocean Reef was very anxious to help us and responded quickly. They checked about repairs and replacing the sleeper sofa, but the owners declined. Ocean Reef did bring us two rollaway beds. The shower on the patio was completely shut off leaving us without a way to wash the sand off when coming in from the beach. I understand the owners getting frustrated with replacing things because so many people just don't care and don't realize or care that they are staying in someone's home. But for the amount charged for this rental, I feel the accommodations should have been better. We were also told that the elevator in the home had been deactivated for liability reasons. A person with a handicap could not stay in this house because of all the stairs."
