"Our stay at the Edgewater Condo was wonderful. Compass resorts made check in and check out so easy and had everything ready once we arrived."

"This is a great condo.....very clean, comfortable, great beds, updated features, fully equipped, and a terrific view from the large balcony. Its right on the beach, and beach chairs and umbrella were included with the rental. Its also very convenient (short walk to grocery store as well as numerous restaurants). The owner Ken was very nice and more than accommodating. The place is just as pictured in the ad. We went at the low season (November) so we had the place to ourselves and the beach was wide open. Super easy to check in and out, electronic access with a door code, great indoor parking, luggage carts in the garage for transferring luggage and supplies to the unit, etc. We plan to return."

"This was our third Destin trip and second stay in Edgewater. The condo was perfect for our family- we love Edgewater! Maybe the best feature is the chair service on the beach! No need to drag or buy beach chairs. We used the pool a couple of days (thankfully heated), and love the proximity to the ocean, and even played basketball and shuffleboard. The condo itself is great - had everything we needed for a much needed week away! And I LOVED the view and the ability to open the sliding doors and hear the surf - what a great sound! The only complaint was the fire alarms. They went off a few times while we were there - but never in the middle of the night (silver lining?). The are very loud in the condo, and one did go off for a good 10-15 minutes. I think during spring break, this is probably very common unfortunately. We will be back to Edgewater - no doubt about it."

This Unit - if we had to sum it up in just one word it would be "Wonderful"
"We stayed in Martha’s Unit #600 for the month of December and if we had to sum it up in just one word it would be “Wonderful”.
We have never been to the Destin area before so we had no idea where a good place to stay was. Lucky we had some good friends that have been to the Destin area many many times. We gave them the VRBO list of different condo complexes and they selected what they thought was the best 5. After comparing the 5 condo complexes my wife and I choose the Edgewater Beach Condominiums, then we had to determine which unit to stay in. After reviewing all the units in Edgewater that where on VRBO, we choose Martha’s #600, the pictures of the unit looked great.
Once we arrived at the unit, after a quick walk through before we brought our bags in my wife said “wow this place is just beautiful”. We were so happy that we choose this unit, you could tell that Martha must have spent a lot of time and money on it. It was truly a home away from home. We also really enjoyed the entire Edgewater Beach Condo Resort with the pools, hot tub, and gym. Just down the street (about ¼ mile) was a restaurant called Surf Hut, that place was great. We ate there 5 times (the key lime pie was to die for).
Concerning Martha, we can’t say enough great things to say about her. We have rented a fair number of condos, homes, and cabins over the years and Martha was by far the best and most enjoyable owner / manager to deal with. She even had left a thank you present for us on the counter, and called a couple of times just to make sure everything was okay with the unit.
When we got to the unit, Martha was actually staying in another unit in Edgewater (#410, VRBO #964864) that she had bought this summer and was just finishing up getting it ready to rent. Martha was kind enough to give up a tour of this unit, she also did a wonderful job in this unit. Not sure if I could truly say which of the units where the best (#600 or #410), but we won’t hesitate to stay in either one. So if you are looking at #600 and it is already booked for the time you want you should check out #410."
