"Southern Breeze is awesome! Conveniently located. Beautiful, (inside and out), spacious, yet comfy-cozy. Had such a wonderful stay we stayed an extra night even though it was going to rain. We enjoyed that rainy day at the beach just cuddled up on the couches watching movies (they have a great selection) and enjoying watching the ocean waves during the stormy rain. Just open the blinds and enjoy a picture perfect view, no matter what the weather! Will stay there again and recommend to others!! It's like a home away from home!! I took my 80 year old mother and 70 year old aunt and my two Maltese, Teddy & Bear. Everyone loved all of the personal touches at Southern Breeze! All of the furniture and beds are so comfortable! Also, the owners are great, I spoke with him several times and he was so nice and helpful, told us all kinds of great info about things to do! Plus they have notebook with all kinds of brochures of places to go and activities to do. Thanks so much, I hope to be back soon!!"

  • Just perfect!

"This is our second time at Cape San Blas and our first time staying at SeaEscape. I can't say enough good things about this unit. The location is perfect, literally across the street from the pool that leads you to the boardwalk to the beach. The unit has some upgrades and is beautifully decorated. It was also very clean when we arrived, you can tell the owners take very good care of it! They provided all the necessities pots, pans, etc. for us to make our own meals and have a nice Weber grill on the porch for grilling out. The storage unit is very clean and organized and provided beach chairs, toys, umbrella, and beach cart that made it nice to carry everything to the beach. It's also a dog friendly unit which we appreciated. They provided dog towels and sheets and food/water bowls which was great because we forgot ours. The only bad thing is that we couldn't stay longer."

  • Excellent

"Grand Escape is a very nice property, right on the beach. We spent a week there 4/30/16 - 5/7/16. There were a few minor maintenance issues that were addressed immediately once we brought them to the attention of the management company. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice quiet beach experience for a large group. There were only a handful of other people on the beach the entire week - almost like having a private beach to ourselves. The beach here is pet friendly and the houses next door did have dogs that barked in the mornings, but not too bad. In general, I consider the pet friendly beach a minor takeaway - I would rather be away from my and other peoples pets during my vacation. The house is decorated nicely and sufficiently upscale and clean with good furniture. The pictures online don't really do the house justice. We were surprised at how big the place was when we showed up - the pics made it look small, but it's definitely not small - we only had 6 in our party and at times when folks were on different floors it felt like you are there alone. It was fairly well stocked for cooking and has a gas grill on the kitchen level. We cooked for 6 people multiple nights without issues. One thing that would have been nice to have would be an ice cream scoop - maybe it's there and we just didn't find it. The elevator is also a bit finicky - but we figured it out well enough. If it was my house I would be complaining to the elevator company to fix it properly - it may need to be reset if you leave the door open longer than 5 minutes. There are signs saying this could result in an expensive service charge but we never had to do that - kind of absurd they would expect you to pay $$$ to fix their crummy elevator. I feel sure the maintenance company would have reset it for free if we needed it. I would definitely return to this place if I were planning to come back to Port St.Joe / Cape San Blas area. It's probably one of the nicer rentals in the area. We stayed on the Cape 1 other time about 4 years ago and that place was also very nice, but not quite as nice as this one."
