  • Perfect. Great location. Great Property. Great neighborhood. Great pool. Great beach. GREAT!!

"This was a special trip as we were taking our FIRST family vacay (we're adopting our niece and nephew). Before we even arrived I felt SO welcomed, Lois is a true gem. It was a pleasure working with her. The property was great for the four of us. I loved the little pond right next to our place- the kids just loved it. THe other pond was FULL (both had plenty of turtles) of turtles and we had a ball feeding the turtles- which then also fed the aggressive little fish LOL The pools were awesome and one was a VERY short walk from the townhome but also far enough that there was no worry about noise, etc. The walk to the beach through the neighborhood was delightful! Pretty landscaping, nice pool to walk by and great beach access to those beautiful beaches. We went snorkeling/kayaking at the park which is RIGHT by the property. We had short, yet fabulous stay and it was SO homey! We even watched Lion King one night from the collection of movies provided by the owners. WE WILL be coming back and will hopefully get to stay even longer!"

  • Great Communication & Amenities! Excellent Vacation!

"Wendy thank you for everything that you did to help us get a mini vacation. Cape Escape Vacation Rentals was extremely easy to work with. Wendy made sure that we had all the information that we needed prior to our arrival on the cape and at Barrier Dunes, Waters Edge. The nicest part besides being at the beach was that for our short stay we did not need to worry about essentials, paper towels, toilet paper cooking spices etc. More importantly. we did not need to bring our own linens they were provided for humans and our pets. The condo was steps away from the beach and the park where we could snorkel and my son could fish. Beach chairs were ready and anything else you could want was waiting! Thank you so much for an excellent mini vacation!"

  • Perfect Relaxing Retreat

"Elizabeth was wonderful to work with. She responded promptly to calls and followed up immediately with emails. The place was clean and comfortable. The beach chairs, toys, umbrella and beach cart were so nice to have available! We used them every day. Beach access was easy. One of the pools was about 10 steps from the door. The kitchen.. if you'll need measuring spoons, bring some because I couldn't find any. There was only one plastic liquid measuring cup. There were also no small dish rags or dish scrubbers. We had to use a dish towel. It was fine, just bulky. Be sure to bring plastic wrap, foil or baggies because there are no Tupperware type containers. Kitchen was stocked very well other than that. I loved the foyer downstairs. We left our beach bag, shoes and the pup's leash there so we could just grab them on the way out. Cut down on sand coming into the living spaces, too! The lockbox made checking in a breeze.. no going to a separate office to get keys. We brought our bikes and they were safe in the carport. We rode them to the state park once and on the bike trail on the cape. The state park is right next to Barrier Dunes. We launched our boat there into the bay and had a great day of fishing. A smaller boat will fit under the carport along with a vehicle. We had an 18 ft aluminum V-Hull in there, and at one time 1 SUV under the carport and another in the driveway. It was tight with all that, but it fit! There is also overflow parking available if you have a bit larger boat or more guests. We went into St. Joe and had dinner at Ronnie B.'s. The food was really good. The Sand Bucket on the cape was also good. We had a super nice time and will definitely be back!!"
