  • Just perfect!

"This is our second time at Cape San Blas and our first time staying at SeaEscape. I can't say enough good things about this unit. The location is perfect, literally across the street from the pool that leads you to the boardwalk to the beach. The unit has some upgrades and is beautifully decorated. It was also very clean when we arrived, you can tell the owners take very good care of it! They provided all the necessities pots, pans, etc. for us to make our own meals and have a nice Weber grill on the porch for grilling out. The storage unit is very clean and organized and provided beach chairs, toys, umbrella, and beach cart that made it nice to carry everything to the beach. It's also a dog friendly unit which we appreciated. They provided dog towels and sheets and food/water bowls which was great because we forgot ours. The only bad thing is that we couldn't stay longer."

  • Great vacation at the Cape

"Our family, including our 4-legged furry child, enjoyed our week at Cape San Blas! We had a very restful and fun vacation. Chris and Tom's condo was the perfect size for the 5 of us (2 adults, 2 children & one well-behaved dog). We enjoyed the pools at Barrier Dunes as well as the easy walk to the beach. The beach was beautiful and very family and dog-friendly. We also loved finding beautiful shells along the shore and in the shallows. We did discover that you are required to remove your tents/beach umbrellas from the beach each night due to the sea turtles who come onto the beach to dig their nests and lay eggs during the night. There were several turtle nests marked with caution tape there. The condo was very clean and true to our expectations from the VRBO description. While there we enjoyed dinner at Cone Heads (right outside the Barrier Dunes community) and at Shipwrecked on the other side of Port St. Joe. We also highly recommend the Trading Post that carries most anything you need (we purchased some food items and t-shirts for souvenirs). Also, you need to stop by Weber's Donut Shop on the Cape for freshly made donuts. But once they sell out, you're out of luck until the next morning. Everyone we encountered on the Cape and in Port St. Joe was very friendly. Overall, we had a great vacation experience. Thank you to Chris and Tom for allowing us to enjoy your home!"

  • Great Location in Barrier Dunes

"We just returned from our summer vacation at the beach. This is the seventh unit in the complex that we have rented and I would rate it at the top of the list. Even with Tropical Storm Colin the weather was great. Only Sunday night and Monday were rainouts. We were pleasantly surprised to find the unit actually looks better in person than what the pictures show. This unit is well furnished and stocked with most of the items that you need while at the beach. It is located very close to the tennis courts and smaller pool. There is a view of the Gulf from the master bedroom deck. The unit is pet friendly with laminate flooring and tile on the lower level. The owner was very responsive with an issue with the cable and internet and when the upstairs a/c needed repair. I highly recommend this unit."
