  • Great "old Florida" get away!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Gloriline was the perfect retreat for our week in the Port St Joe area! The home is stunning with beautiful architectural details and huge screened porches for sipping our early morning coffee. The beach and the natural landscape on the property gave us that old Florida feel we were hoping for after years of vacationing on Gulf Coast beaches that are full of people and noise. We were so pleased with the quality of this large home and the lay out which ensured everyone had plenty of space! We are making plans to return and we will be bringing our first grandchild next time!"

  • Great pet friendly vacation spot!

"An earlier review (from 2012) derided the beach as "dirty with seaweed" problem. Not at all a thing anymore. Sand is white powder style, no seaweed was to be found. Now, she was right that you would not do any snorkeling, as the ocean there has large sandbars, so the water has silt in it from the waves crashing. The whole area, and most of the rentals, is/are dog friendly, I don't think I saw any non-dog owners at the beach. We were there during the week, and it was quite nearly a private beach. I think we ran into maybe 3 people each time we hit the beach. House is legitimately on the beach, with no houses in front or any such shenanigans. House is not luxurious, but the photos in the listing ring true. Grilling on the porch was made difficult by the constant ocean breezes, trying to blow the flames out. May have been the time of year. Anyhow, a great time for those who like pets and value privacy, vs. crowded beaches."

  • My home away from home!

"For the past three years I have stayed at Sea Ya Later during the winter season and plan to return again next year. It is perfect for me and my dog with a beautiful beach and ocean right outside the door. The house is a simple and basic beach house with all the amenities that I need. The rental service was quick to respond when several light bulbs burnt out and even put in a new mail box when I realized that my mail forwarding was in jeopardy without one. Since I have some mobility problems, they even sent a nice young man to help me unload my car and help me settle in for my stay so that I could avoid hauling stuff up the stairs! The review from 2012 does not reflect the improvements the owners made a few years ago and they recently put in a new flat screen in the living room which made streaming videos possible for me. There were lots of nice towels and plenty of cookware, dishes and utensils. Don't expect the upscale amenities a higher priced place will provide and you won't be disappointed. I enjoy the privacy, solitude and ability to do absolutely nothing while I am there and look forward to it each year. The grocery store in Port St. Joe has everything you need and the best steaks and seafood you could eat!"

  • Andrea - Ohio

"This was our second stay at Sirens Song on the Cape. Our family loves this home! We have three college age children that enjoy being able to run with our dog on the beach, paddle board in the bay, work out at the clubhouse and swim in the pool at the house. This home is both beautiful and comfortable. The décor is so tasteful and the kitchen has all the essentials. We grilled out most of our meals except for our two favorite spots, Indian Pass and Jo Mamas Pizza. We rented paddle boards for the week and also a boat for a day in Post St. Joe. I highly recommend this home for a wonderful vacation!!"
