  • Relaxing

"We have stayed here for several years. This home does not disappoint. Paul is amazing to book through and deal with. The home is well appointed and comfortable. There was plenty of room to stretch out and relax after spending a day on the beach relaxing. :) Since Paul does not live in the area, I did mention to him a couple of items that might need to be addressed in the future, but nothing was emergent or unsafe....it just comes with the territory of owning a rental property on the beach. He was very gracious with our recommendations. I have to say I have never seen the water at the Cape more beautiful than the week we were down. It was crystal clear and beautiful. My only disappointment was the new souvenir shop that was built. We like to come to CSB for the lack of commercialism. The Trading Post was awesome as usual and get in line early for donuts or croissants and the donut stand! All in all, our vacation was perfect and we can't wait to go back."

  • AMAZING!

"Went to dolphins dance to celebrate my 40th birthday. Beautiful weather. Amazing beaches. Pet friendly. Love, love, loved it! Lots of extras for the beach. There are several chairs, a beach cart that came in handy! There is a beach umbrella or two and a few beach toys and floaties. The outside shower has hot and cold water. Even the hose water wasn't really too cold. Perfect for cleaning off the sandy furry friend! Honestly went on a ride around the area and believe we found the perfect spot without even knowing the area. On your way in stop at the Cape Tradin' Post. Get yourself a bottle of DIXONS bug spray. Your off is not going to work! DIXONS smells great and keeps the bugs away! We had no problem with bugs until the sun went down. With the DIXONS there were no bug problems. Be prepared for relaxing! Visit the State Park. It is worth it. Honestly enjoyed walking in the shallows of the bay. Saw starfish and hermit crabs, fish... so so so awesome! We will be back! Thanks so much!"

  • STILL THE BEST RENTAL VALUE ON THE CAPE

"I previous left a great review for the DuneFine, but my most recent stay warrants another! Please read my previous review for the many reasons I feel this is the best rental value on the Cape, but let me add a few more based on my last stay. Upon arrival we were amazed at the continual upgrading the owner has performed over the years! New paint, new appliances, new furniture and MORE! These changes give you a feeling of "newness" vs the boredom of seeing the same old furnishings and look over and over in your rental. It was like being in a NEW and different DuneFine! Marriott has nothing on the DuneFine when it comes to keeping fresh and updated! I must also note that the beach in front of the DuneFine gazebo remains one of the widest on the Cape with no steep drop at the toe of the Dune! This is not the case with many of the beach rentals on the rest of the Cape! Many of the Cape Gulf properties find themselves with a steep drop off at the toe of the dune AND a very narrow beach. Such is not the case in front of the DuneFine gazebo on the beach! Mother nature is in control of this, but she has been kind to the DuneFine area to date! Gazebo ON THE BEACH, Dock ON THE BAY, Private swimming pool, pavement all the way to the house and your feet never leave the pavement or a boardwalk all the way to the wide sandy beach or the bay! What more could you ask for!"

  • SO RELAXING!!

"We had a great family vacation here at Cape Refreshment! Even though our weather could have been better, we did exactly what we wanted to do. We went to the local fish markets and was able to eat very well the week we were there, with a fully stocked kitchen. The boys were able to do all the shelling they ever had wanted to do. We walked to get ice cream. We walked the beach at night and got to watch the ghost crabs run around, which we thought was way cool to watch:). We drove over to Apalachicola and on the way there saw an alligator on the side of the road, to shop and eat. We had such a great family vacation that I can't wait to visit this place again!"
