  • Excellent location

"This is our second year in a row to stay at Whataday. I just want to mention that last year I made mention that a new shower head would help upstairs. This year, there is a new shower head and the water pressure is much better. So, just know these owners are tops and really care about their renters. We are here during 4th of July week and just meeting a lot of the same people from last year. The view is to die for. Our dogs are welcomed by everyone and just seriously the very best location with The Trading Post within walking distance. I also might mention, there are miles and miles of bike paths that we take full advantage of. We will definitely stay here again next year."

  • Absolutely breathtaking!!

"Amelia was wonderful!! The house was very spacious and the owner provided beach towels, detergents, books, board games and movies at the main house!! My family had many memorable nights utilizing the medley of board games!! The house has a great open plan layout with plenty of seating. All beds were absolutely comfortable!! The house was also well cleaned when we arrived and decorated beautifully with beach decor ranging from sand dollars to seahorses!! The screen house by the bay was priceless!! The kids loved using the shell nets that were hanging in the screen house to collect sea creatures within the bay to look at close up. There was also a place to build a fire by the screen house that the kids used to make s'mores. The kayaks and paddle boards were nicely lined up under the screen house for all of the family to easily take out to the bay! The kayaking on the bay was great!! The pier was grand and amazing!! The colorful lizards must have loved the pier also, because the children spotted them sunbathing regularly on the wooden planks of the pier. This property is absolutely a dream!! I can't say enough!! It is like a hidden paradise that could be featured within the pages of National Geographic magazine!!! And on top of everything that I have previously mentioned, the owner is a delight to work with. She is always available and I can tell that she wants her guests to have the best vacation possible!!! She truly cares about her renters!! This is a magnificent five star property!!"

  • Absolutely great!!!!

"We just stayed at St. Kitts over spring break and let me say it is an amazing house!! The rental company is so fantastic to work with. We had trouble with our downstairs air conditioner and they fixed it immediately and asked if there was anything else I needed. So friendly! There was noone in the houses around us so we had to pool to ourselves- (and most of the beach) It isn't heated so we weren't swimming but it was great to lay out and read- very relaxing! The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The elevator was also great for getting the groceries and bags upstairs AND the outside frig was perfect for a quick water or beer. The weather was perfect. The water is not as clear as the 30A beaches but that may have just been the time of year because I've seen some pics when it is just beautiful. The beach also washed away the 4th day we were there- only about 5 feet was left to set up chairs but I think it was just a freak thing. We biked down to the park- quite a ride with the wind but very cool! and let me just say that my kids biked down to the Trading Post EVERYDAY!! It was so wonderful- coffee, fresh donuts every morning, ice cream, snow cones. The people that work there are so friendly as well. I can't recommend this area enough. It is not congested and we had no problem going out to eat. Indian Pass Raw Bar is a must and go into Appalachicola if you can- the Owl Cafe is excellent! I WOULD recommend stopping at the Piggly Wiggly in Port St. Joe as you come in to stock up but anything else you may need is at the Trading Post. Coneheads was not open yet bc of remodeling but would be another great spot on the cape to go. Will definitely visit again!"
