  • Great vacation at the Cape

"Our family, including our 4-legged furry child, enjoyed our week at Cape San Blas! We had a very restful and fun vacation. Chris and Tom's condo was the perfect size for the 5 of us (2 adults, 2 children & one well-behaved dog). We enjoyed the pools at Barrier Dunes as well as the easy walk to the beach. The beach was beautiful and very family and dog-friendly. We also loved finding beautiful shells along the shore and in the shallows. We did discover that you are required to remove your tents/beach umbrellas from the beach each night due to the sea turtles who come onto the beach to dig their nests and lay eggs during the night. There were several turtle nests marked with caution tape there. The condo was very clean and true to our expectations from the VRBO description. While there we enjoyed dinner at Cone Heads (right outside the Barrier Dunes community) and at Shipwrecked on the other side of Port St. Joe. We also highly recommend the Trading Post that carries most anything you need (we purchased some food items and t-shirts for souvenirs). Also, you need to stop by Weber's Donut Shop on the Cape for freshly made donuts. But once they sell out, you're out of luck until the next morning. Everyone we encountered on the Cape and in Port St. Joe was very friendly. Overall, we had a great vacation experience. Thank you to Chris and Tom for allowing us to enjoy your home!"

  • Better than we could have hoped for

"Bella Vista was perfect for our family with four grown children (one of them married). The two master bedrooms were great for the two married couples. The house is big and beautiful, and had everything we needed, including good air conditioning. It is very private, and the views of the sand dunes and ocean are fantastic. The beach is just a short walk across the dunes on our own walkway. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone, and we will come again if possible!"

  • Excellent location

"This is our second year in a row to stay at Whataday. I just want to mention that last year I made mention that a new shower head would help upstairs. This year, there is a new shower head and the water pressure is much better. So, just know these owners are tops and really care about their renters. We are here during 4th of July week and just meeting a lot of the same people from last year. The view is to die for. Our dogs are welcomed by everyone and just seriously the very best location with The Trading Post within walking distance. I also might mention, there are miles and miles of bike paths that we take full advantage of. We will definitely stay here again next year."

  • Beautiful home & location, awesome rental company

"McCosh is hands-down the nicest home we've rented. Beautifully decorated, well-stocked kitchen, the owners spared no expense with the appliances, furnishings, and decor. Tile and granite everywhere. Views are amazing, and the deck furniture is awesome. The location is quiet, and the house has a private marked walkway to the beach (we had no issues with anyone else using the walkway). The community pools are well-maintained and beautiful. The location on the beach is low-density, and although all the homes around us were rented the beach was uncrowded and serene. This is definitely the place to go to get away from it all!"
