  • Lovely home for a family vacation

"It is April 26th, we have only been home for 4 days, but on my way home from work today my thoughts were on how much I was already missing my vacation and the lovely home I and my family got to enjoy! It doesn't help that it is late April and only 34 degrees here in Wisconsin. Hard NOT to miss the daily 80 degree awesome weather that we got that week. This house completed our trip. It worked for us in so many ways. My husband and myself brought our 3 kids, who are 22, 19, and 17 + our daughter brought a friend. We had plenty of room to spread out, the king sized beds were very comfy, and the bathrooms are super spacious! We used the spa/swim pool nightly and loved it. We used almost every appliance the kitchen had to offer, the griddle, the blender, the toaster, and of course the coffee maker. I enjoyed my coffee every morning on the screened in front porch. That was my favorite time, when everyone else was asleep and I could enjoy the quiet. It was nice and quiet around the house, not too many properties around it, which was nice for us, we enjoyed the privacy. We made it to the pool a few times, which was nice. The beach was beautiful and really not very many others on it, maybe it was the time of year that we were there, but we were able to have prime spots everyday. Next time, I would bring a canopy for some shade, the sun was hot . . . at least for me. The teen girls sure did love it! We went to the Peninsula state park for a whole day, the trails were super cool and a great way to spend the day. We enjoyed shrimp from St Joes Shrimp co. and Skully's! Had a blast talking with the owner of Skully's! Nice guy! And ate some delicious fresh donuts from Weber's Little Donut Shop. Cape San Blas is such a cool place! I can't wait to go back and explore it some more! I would for sure stay at Dags Dunes again! It was sure a treat to stay in such a terrific house! ~ Kenna & Lance Swiggum Wisconsin"

  • Nice location, extremely clean and very friendly area!

"Great week in April at Cape San Blas! The house was neat and tidy, and had everything we needed. Very welcoming after a long drive from Wisconsin. Enjoyed the gas grill with fresh seafood and local restaurants are friendly and delicious. The week was relaxing, and we enjoyed riding up to 20 miles a day on our bikes with our 9 and 11 year old girls. The bike path up to the star park is wonderful! Overall, we loved what The Cape had to offer! Not commercialised or busy with traffic. The beaches are powdered sugar and untouched!"
