  • Second Stay Even Better!

"Coming to this unit a second time was even better than the first. We knew what to expect, and were not disappointed. The unit is comfortable, clean, and well appointed with a well stocked kitchen for the cook who cooks & bakes from scratch! This trip, we brought my 90 year old mom. No problems in adjusting for her needs. Elevator is a PLUS! Carts for loading & unloading parked by the elevators also a good addition to our first trip. Washer/Dryer also a plus in my book! The night of our arrival was unusually cold, with piercing high winds. Someone had set the thermostat to heat, we walked in to warm & cozy after a 9 hour drive. Wonderful & thoughtful detail. We have always found Roni to be conscientious, prompt with her responses, and eager to do everything possible for her guests to enjoy a perfect stay. The sun sets are each unique and beautiful, and viewed from the comfort of your chair on the balcony. A couple of nights, we slept with the sliders open, to the sound of the surf. Peaceful Paradise... Don't tell anybody!"

  • Nice place. Great view

"This was our second trip to Cape san blas. Definitely would rent this place again. House is very nice. Only complaint on the house was it could have been cleaner. There was sand under the dining room table rug. Could tell it had not been cleaned under in awhile. Same goes for the bunk beds on lower floor. Emailed Teresa and she got right back with me. Same goes for when a step came loose on the boardwalk to the beach. We had 3 adults and 6 kids. Plenty of room. Views are amazing, dolphins everyday were swimming by. Beaches are beautiful. October was nice, nobody there. At times we had it to ourselves it seemed like. Weather was perfect, mid 80s. First time we went was in June, hot then, expected in florida though. Read a lot about flies in October, was not that bad. Annoying a few times, but not unbearable. If you are looking for a lot to do then cape san blas is not for you. It's a sit back and relax kind of place. We did have a few jellyfish our last day, little girl next to us got stung. All in all the house is nice, the beaches are beautiful, and the area is very relaxing. Shelling was OK, able to have a fire on the beach was awesome. The few places to eat are good."

  • I want to wave you off, but...

"I am a native Floridian who has lived in Georgia for 26 years. I had never been to the "Forgotten Coast" before renting this house. The beach is pristine with sugar sand and clear water. During spring break week, when PCB and Destin were zoos, this area was quiet, uncrowded, and heavenly. The house itself was immaculate and when I did have an issue come up, Patrick responded very quickly. The 2nd floor master suite was roomy and beautifully decorated. I really felt like I was in an upscale hotel. The main floor living and kitchen areas are gorgeous, well-decorated, and extremely well supplied. 3 corkscrews? That's for me. (No wine glasses, so bring your own if you're that picky about your glass!) My teen daughters were very comfortable in the bedroom with the twins and private bath. It was nicely decorated and has very high ceilings which made it feel bigger. I thought this house was an incredible value for the money and the location was a fabulous surprise. We were able to poke around Port St. Joe and enjoy the little shops and restaurants and the marina. We went into Apalachicola and shopped and walked around. We checked out Mexico Beach and also made a day trip up to PCB, enjoying a free air show of F22 Raptors while driving through Tyndall AFB. It was great to arrive early in PCB before the party crowd got up! We visited Gulf World (awesome animal care) and ate at Pineapple Willy's then got out early enough to avoid the crazies. Seriously, don't hesitate to rent this place. It was fantastic!"

  • Comfortable and relaxing

"We loved our recent stay. The proximity to the beach and the amenities of the Barrier Dunes community (especially the 2 pools) were great. Our two kids ages 4 and 6 loved staying in their own loft area. The kitchen is very well stocked (except for a grater) and we loved having meals on the deck out back. We look forward to going back next year."
