  • Lovely home, great location

"We stayed in this lovely home for a month. The furnishings, bedding, etc. were all high quality and very comfortable. The decor is very beachy and cute. The screened porch was great and allowed us to leave the french doors open to the living room to get fresh air throughout the home. The kitchen is large and has everything you need. They even left us a supply of essentials such as salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar, flour, sugar and some other spices and other items. The master bedroom and second bedroom were both very comfortable. The upstairs loft is the third bedroom and is reached by a narrow spiral staircase. This would work well for kids but is awkward for adults as there is no bathroom on that level and the staircase could be hard for some to manage. There is a beautiful view of St. Joe Bay through the pines from the porch, though traffic noise sometimes made it less relaxing. It is a short walk to the Gulf of Mexico side, where the beach is gigantic and beautiful, dog friendly and you can even drive (with a permit) or ride bikes on this amazing beach for miles in both directions. There is also a great bike path along San Blas Road (30E). We had a wonderful relaxing month walking the beach, watching the sunsets, biking and enjoying lots of friendly neighbors."

  • Cozy condo

"Sneaky Scallop fit our needs perfectly for Memorial Day weekend. We had two families and two dogs and plenty of room for all. Their living room sofas and recliner were super comfortable and the boys loved the big screen tv for sports and video games. We just wish the beds had been as comfy. The condo is only steps away from one the the prettiest beaches Florida has to offer. Debbe manages the property and provides great service. We received our deposit back in less than a week after our stay. Barrier Dunes is wonderful for families; we love visiting every year. Weber's Little Donut Shop is a must, as is Cape San Blas."

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful location. Roomy and convenient. Perfect for our visit. Could have been a little cleaner. Not at all pleased about cars being allowed to drive on the beach."

  • Excellent location

"This is our second year in a row to stay at Whataday. I just want to mention that last year I made mention that a new shower head would help upstairs. This year, there is a new shower head and the water pressure is much better. So, just know these owners are tops and really care about their renters. We are here during 4th of July week and just meeting a lot of the same people from last year. The view is to die for. Our dogs are welcomed by everyone and just seriously the very best location with The Trading Post within walking distance. I also might mention, there are miles and miles of bike paths that we take full advantage of. We will definitely stay here again next year."
