  • Perfect views!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home has perfect views from most rooms. Steps to the beach! There were a few issues (microwave did not work, dishwasher needed repair, and there was a flea problem), but we were assured those would be fixed. It rained one day, and the screened porch was perfect for a lazy day. It would be great if dish soap, kitchen towels, and dishwashing detergent were provided. I think the lack of these is why the dishes weren't very clean--it would be an easy thing to overlook in the pre arrival packet. The garage full of beach toys was a nice surprise. We utilized the fish cleaning station as the fish were biting constantly. Minutes to the state park. We would definitely stay again. You can't beat the location or views."

  • My home away from home!

"For the past three years I have stayed at Sea Ya Later during the winter season and plan to return again next year. It is perfect for me and my dog with a beautiful beach and ocean right outside the door. The house is a simple and basic beach house with all the amenities that I need. The rental service was quick to respond when several light bulbs burnt out and even put in a new mail box when I realized that my mail forwarding was in jeopardy without one. Since I have some mobility problems, they even sent a nice young man to help me unload my car and help me settle in for my stay so that I could avoid hauling stuff up the stairs! The review from 2012 does not reflect the improvements the owners made a few years ago and they recently put in a new flat screen in the living room which made streaming videos possible for me. There were lots of nice towels and plenty of cookware, dishes and utensils. Don't expect the upscale amenities a higher priced place will provide and you won't be disappointed. I enjoy the privacy, solitude and ability to do absolutely nothing while I am there and look forward to it each year. The grocery store in Port St. Joe has everything you need and the best steaks and seafood you could eat!"

  • Barrier Dune Stay

"Barrier Dunes is a very peaceful place, snorkeling , biking trails, fishing right at your fingertips. Great restaurants in Indian Pass, Apalachicola and Port Joe about 20-30 minute drive. Patsy's place was no more than 3 minutes from the beach, which is beautiful white sand, for miles, clear water, shells galore. unit was older but clean and had everything you needed. location was perfect one of the pools was no more than 5 minute walk at most . State Park down the street with canoe and boat rental . This was our 2nd stay in Barrier Dunes and can't wait to come back. Only issue I would say was that Patsy was very slow in responding. there was a phone number posted in the unit stating call me if you have any questions. tried that number and it was disconnected. Response time to emails at least 3 days."
