  • Late July Visit

"Excellent venue and vacation! Quiet, peaceful, and everything you could want! Great fishing in the marsh in the morning then relaxing under an umbrella on the beach during the afternoon! They had it all for us...bikes to ride, paddle boards for the kids, kayaks for fishing, it was all there.....Will definitely return...well worth the money...absolutely no complaints!!"

  • GREAT VIEW ON THE RIVER

"Great cabintype home on the river complete with dock and screened gazebo to protect from yellowflies. Close to everything in town and a short drive to Wakulla Springs and great state park. Robin Hilton was great to work with. For you fast food people Subway is your only choice. The Junction has the best ice cream ever!!!"

  • St. George Island Vacation

"We had a wonderful time with our 3 nieces and 2 grandchildren, ages 8-18. We take them on a vacation each summer and our time at Serendipity this year was one of their favorites. Every day we woke there was another great day! Sunsets on the deck were so spectacular - got some great pictures. Water was perfect! Saw dolphins usually every day in late afternoon/evening. Definitely drive over to Apalachicola and have Larry take you on the Airboat tour! All the kids (and I) enjoyed that. The house was great - having a washer and dryer was definitely necessary - towels were the biggest need (bring your beach towels too, we used ours and theirs, could have used more bath towels too), sand gets everywhere with children no matter how many times you wash off outside first - which helped tremendously. You would need the baby gates put up if you have smaller children that like to get to the stairs! Lots of stairs logged on my fit bit. I always felt safe there, we had lots to do, shopping was great, and although the beach had plenty of people, compared to big places like Daytona, Destin, etc. this beach was quiet in comparison. I could see the kids from the house whether on the beach or at the park next to us. We had everything we needed - except maybe a larger skillet (these kids can eat)! I would liked to have had a week there with just my husband and I to rest after sending the kids home - maybe next time."
