  • Amazing!!!

"Loved the property, the price, the location, and everything else! I went with a total of 5 people and there was plenty of room! It really is about 25 yards across the street from the beach, and the pool was a huge bonus! THANK YOU for such a wonderful place to stay!!!"

  • Fall Break 2016

"My husband and I decided that in the rushed and chaotic world we're living in and raising our 4 boys( 14, 13, and 7 yr old twins) that we wanted to find a place that was low key. We decided on St George and with a lot of patience and looking we found Seaview! The house had great reviews and looked amazing! We loved that we had ocean views from each of the three balconies! The kids loved the pool and the outdoor space was great! The house was clean and had lots of amenities included that we would normally have to purchase(paper towels, dishwashing soap, dishwasher tablets, trash can liners, and more) The house is kid safe with a gate on the 2nd floor balcony so the twins couldn't access the pool without an adult. The beach was a short distance and the outside closet was full of beach accessories! We enjoyed a short drive across the bridge one day to Apalachicola where we parked and walked around and enjoyed some shopping. We also enjoyed St George Island State Park where we found tons of shells! My favorite place was the hammock! Highly recommend this house. You won't be disappointed. Thanks David and Suzy for providing us with a beautiful home and making another fall break with our boys successful!"

  • Great house for family with kids and dogs.

"We came to SGI because the beaches are dog friendly. This house was great for a family of 7 with 2 dogs. It was as described, but even better. The dog pen was pretty secure - I was a little wary at first, but it worked out well. There are 3 bedrooms, so there was some doubling up. The kitchen and living area are very large and the inside is very nice. We cooked there a couple of nights and enjoyed food from the (very close) restaurants. Everything is very close and convenient. The beach was a little further of a walk than we anticipated, so we ended up hauling everyone in our van and parking a couple of blocks over. The area of the beach that is directly in line with the house is nice and private, not very close to the public beach entrance. We mostly stayed at the house or beach. We went to the State Park at the eastern end of the island one day, and that was nice. We did a little bit of shelling. We also visited the nature center that is on the mainland near the start of the bridge to SGI. So there are things to do, but when you come here relax. Enjoy the beach and the house. We are already talking about coming back next year, and if we do we are going to definitely try to book this house again."

  • Great vacation home on a beautiful, quiet beach

"If you are looking for a relaxing vacation spot in a beautiful home, I highly recommend the Lite House on St. George Island. The house is centrally located within easy walking access to restaurants and local attractions. The beach is just steps away from the door which is very convenient. The beach is beautiful and not crowded. We were even able to watch dolphins from the upper deck of the house! With three bedrooms and three levels to the house, there was plenty of room for our three families. The kitchen was well stocked with a variety of cooking utensils which made meal preparation very easy. There is a dining table that seats 6, along with four additional seats at the kitchen island. The living area was very comfortable, as well. In addition to the indoor space, there are three levels of outdoor space with comfortable deck chairs and chaise lounges. The washer/dryer was much appreciated, as was the wifi access. Jamie was a pleasure to work with and was quick to respond to my emails prior to the trip. We encountered no issues or problems during our stay, but I knew if we did, Jamie was just a phone call away. We have rented many vacation homes on the Carolina coast and in Florida over the years, but the Lite House is definitely a family favorite. I highly recommend it and we would most definitely stay here again."
