  • Overall a great place to stay!

"Pros: This condo is decorated beautifully! The resort is awesome bc you have access to the beach, bay, and multiple pools as well as the Ramada pool next door. This particular condo is located on the beach side and is on the same level as the skywalk to access the lazy river on the bay side of the resort. Not mentioned in this listing, there is a deck box on the patio that had 2 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, 2 fishing poles (bring your own string and bait), beach umbrella, and bucket with shovels for beach play. This was such a nice perk but I wish I would have known ahead of time so I didn't haul chairs and umbrellas from Cincinnati. There is a parking garage for resort guests to use. Cons: The condo had a mildew smell to it. We also called Wyndham Vacations (owners) directly to complain of a nonworking phone, disgustingly dirty AC filter, and patio door that did not close completely and therefore unable to lock. No one ever came the 5 days we were there to fix any of these reported problems. Also, the pull out sofa is incredibly uncomfortable but suited my 5 & 7 year old ok. I definitely would not advise for an adult. The stoves did not get very hot and took 20 minutes to scramble eggs one morning. I would suggest eating out anyway though. Mcquires, The Back Porch, Boshamps, Harry T's, and the Crab Trap were all great! If you are looking for a view I would not suggest this condo because it essentially overlooks a parking lot. You can barely see the ocean and bay. Also, there is not a washer and dryer in the unit but you can pay to do laundry at the Ramada next door. Lastly, we tried to check in early bc the condo wasn't rented the day before but they said no early check ins during summer months. Overall a great trip and a good place to stay!"

  • A relaxing vacation

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is perfect. This property is on a wonderful section of the beach that is very walkable in either direction. The unit has a great floor plan and the condition of the furniture were all wonderful and as described. the unit was very clean upon our arrival. We were pleasantly surprised with the beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, and umbrellas available. I would suggest some additions to the property: 1. coasters as you could see marks on the wood from peoples drinks who didn't use paper towels as we did. 2. drinking glasses as there were a million coffee cups, 8 small drinking glasses, and 2 wine glasses. 3. bakeware as I baked enchiladas in a bread pan which was rather difficult. An 8" x 11" pan or two would be helpful. We would return to this property in the future."
