  • Perfect location

"We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely home. It was the perfect size for 2 adults and 2 children, and Ralph was very helpful and responsive. The location is great - you walk outside and across the street and you are on the beach. If you want quiet and solitude, Gufenauf is an excellent choice."

  • Can't wait to go back!

"I loved everything about the Sunflower. I enjoyed coffee every morning on the screened in porch and a cocktail every evening on the star gazers deck. Seriously the best - most stress-free vacation I've had in years. If you just want to get away from everything and everyone, this is the place to go. Very comfortable house, the pictures do not do it justice. It's in a great location - minutes away from Indian Pass Raw Bar - and just a short walk to what feels like your own private beach. Barbara was super nice, very sweet and gave me lots of information regarding the area. Which was really nice since I was traveling alone. Everything about the trip was perfect. I can't wait to go back!"

  • Great Get-away

"Rejuvenation definitely lives up to its name! We had a wonderful week relaxing, walking the beach, gazing at a star-studded sky, watching the eagles, listening to the owls, and visiting the lighthouses located nearby. We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather, and everywhere we went, we met charming people and were delighted with the lack of commercialization on the Forgotten Coast. The beach house itself was inviting and comfortable, and Jim and Geri were perfect hosts. Rejuvenation is a place of serenity and peace, but you'll find plenty to do, especially if you're a nature lover. Our family highly recommends this home away from home."

  • As close to heaven in this lifetime!

"My sister and I spent a week at Cape Ann and I cannot express in words how beautiful that spot is. Early morning and at dusk were my favorite times of the day. The light is very soft and the colors of the sky, the ocean and the beach slowly meld together until all is dark and still. We had beautiful weather and it warmed up enough towards the end of the week so we got to swim. The water was crystal clear. St. Joe's Pennisula State Park is just down the road and they rent kayaks which was fun. The local people were so very friendly and helpful. The area is non commercial which attracted us. This house is wonderful. So comfortable and very, very clean! All the rooms on the gulf side of the house have large sliding glass doors which open onto a screened porch and a breathtaking view of the water and the dunes. This beach is a nesting area for sea turtles so they ask that you don't leave chairs and tents on the beach at night and also that you close your drapes at night so the lights don't interfere with their natural process. Unfortunately not everyone abided by the request and that was disappointing. I would rather have seen a beach at daybreak that did not have chairs and tents set up. But overall there is a feeling there of how beaches are supposed to be. A little wild and undisturbed. Joyce and Martha were as nice and helpful as could be. They provide towels and sheets which really lightens the packing. Other beach houses I've stayed in have felt cold, as though they are just a structure on the ocean. This is not just a house, it is a home and that is obvious from the minute you walk in the door. The house is painted in soft quiet tones. Before we had even finished our week, we had booked two weeks for next year."
