  • Great Condo, Great Location!!!

"This unit within the Sandy Key Condominium looks almost brand new on the inside!! From the interior paint to the furniture, everything was above our expectations. You can tell just by looking at the furniture and decor that the owner(s) has some real talent in interior design or paid someone, because this unit could be a "model" unit for the entire condominium based on how good it looks. Along with looks, the condo was perfect for our group of four adults. There is a door that closes off the second bedroom while still having access to the guest bathroom, essentially giving the unit two "master" bedrooms. The complex also has two pools (one is heated) and a hot tub and tennis court. The balcony is quite large, allowing for a group of four to enjoy drinks and dinner from the balcony looking directly into the Gulf of Mexico without feeling crowded. The unit is on the 6th floor, and provides breathtaking views of the sugar sands and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Do yourself a favor, and wake up at least one morning at sunrise....the view will remain with you long after you have left Perdido Key. One last thing on the unit itself. The beds were VERY comfortable, and I have to admit that I probably slept better in this strange bed than I ever have in my own bed back home. Now, on to the location. The condominium is located across the street from the Jelly Fish Bar and within walking distance to a few restaurants. It's about a 15 min drive to nearby Orange Beach and Gulf Shores (in Alabama) where there is a great night life scene with several bars and plenty of restaurants. Overall, I would say that the location will cater to everyone from a family with small children to teenagers and to adults looking to enjoy the peacefulness of the Gulf and the nightlife within a 15 minute drive. Make sure you check out the FloraBama, a famous bar located on the Florida/Alabama state line. Overall, everyone in our group had a great stay here, and we voted that this will be our "go to" condo every time we visit (as long as it's available)."
