  • Relaxing, beautifully decorated, great ocean-front location

"Relaxing, quiet atmosphere, perfect for our family spring break get away from the hustle and bustle of work and school. The condo is spacious and beautifully decorated. Great views of the sunrise from the balcony, including a pod of dolphins greeting us in the distance our first morning. The kitchen is fully stocked to allow cooking all meals in the condo, or bringing in fresh seafood. We hope to come back!"

  • Always a pleasure

"This was our second time staying at Beach Colony. We were pleased again! The condo was actually better in person than the pics. The decor is appropriately beachy. We had all the necessities, and then some. Our only glitch was were awakened at 6 am by the fire alarms and had to call the fire department. There was a faulty detector, it happens. Of course we hit the Florabama while there. Also, recommend the Crab Trap and Tacky Jacks in Orange beach was a great little find. We were there for spring break and it's a nice relaxing place for families!"

  • Very Comfortable

"My friend and I were well pleased with this unit and found the owner (Jack) to be most helpful and responsive . We stayed there a week and had no complaints. It was clean and well equipped. The bedroom window does not have an ocean view, but the living area has a perfect ocean view. The pictures depict the unit very accurately and the view from the balcony is beautiful! The balcony has 4 plastic Adirondack chairs and 2 small inn tables (no other table). I do think it would be a little close quarters for more than 2 or 3 people, but it definitely could accommodate that many. I especially appreciated the new model Keurig coffee pot that was provided! We felt very safe in the area and were happy with the nearby restaurant choices. (Especially the new Islander Food Shack right across the street!) Tips: Consider bringing 1 or 2 power strips/surge protectors for additional electrical outlets. You also may want to bring a small fan if you get warm at night, as there are no ceiling fans in unit. (There was a fan on shelf in bedroom closet but it does not work) We even decided to stay an additional 2 nights, and the owner was very cooperative and placed us in a different unit in the same building, as this unit was booked on our scheduled departure date. We will definitely book with this owner again in the hopefully not too distant future!"

  • Absolutely Wonderful!

"This place is gorgeous! Directly across from the beach & Ono Island. Flora-Bama watersports is nextdoor. We rented jet-skis & went deep sea fishing at the same marina. The deck off the kitchen was used nightly and about as perfect as it gets. Only thing missing is a fan above the deck for humid nights :) The owners are awesome and very easy to work with! Highly recommended!"
