  • This Home is a Gem!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!The home was clean and well maintained. Many excellent restaurants nearby. The location of the property is easily accessible and in a very quiet neighborhood. Really close to the beach, perfect views of sunrise and sunset. The upstairs and the deck are open to the ocean view and an enjoyable place to spend time, no matter what the temperature is outside. We also appreciated having the comfortable chairs located on the beach at the end of the boardwalk. This meant we never had to take a chair down to the beach! Comfortable chairs on the upstairs deck and lots of warm sun. We did enjoy using the grill on the deck for dinner one evening. It had a full tank of gas and utensils. Also had comfortable seating downstairs and lots of shade if you need to stay out of the sun. We appreciated the kitchen and bath cleaning and paper products supplied. The pet bed supplied was also a bonus. We had a couple of minor issues which can be addressed by owners - downstairs master bath needs a new tank kit, toilet runs constantly. The ice maker in the refrigerator frequently jams and the ice won't dispense. Then ice jammed in the dispenser eventually melts and makes puddles on the floor. Kitchen was well equipped but we could not locate 2 items - a colander and a flat pan for use in the oven. There was no cable television as advertised since antenna had not been replaced from a recent storm. We did enjoy the Netflix and Youtube available. The small stairway to upstairs was not easy for us to navigate as we have health issues. We were glad to have the outside ramp as an option. The rental contact was very helpful and responsive. All questions were answered quickly and accurately. The special price for January made this an excellent vacation value and we would love to stay here again."

  • Blessing was the perfect place to celebrate our 35th wedding aniiversary.

"Blessing is a beautifully decorated well maintained home right on the beach of Cape San Blas. It is probably the cleanest home that we have ever stayed in at the Cape. We stayed in October 2016 for our 35th wedding anniversary and it was perfect. The weather was beautiful. There were breathtaking sunsets every night. We ate all of our meals on the table and chairs off of the beach front deck. Since it was our anniversary it was only the two of us, but the house could sleep six comfortably. We will never forget our anniversary at Cape San Blas. Thank you so much for all the extra touches that make Blessing so special. Lynda and Steve Madisonville, KY"

  • Great stay at the Cape!

"We had a great time on our first visit to Cape San Blas. The house was very well laid out and decorated. It has everything you need for vacation and has a well stocked kitchen. The house was also the cleanest rental we've ever been too. The listing discription is accurate and it's a short 5-8min walk to the beach with 3 kids under 9 and their toys. The beach is unbelievably private and is a great place for shell collecting. However if you are looking for the emerald coast clear water this is not it - you need to go to the west facing side. This beach faces south. But, as I said - great shell collecting and nature viewing. We also enjoyed visiting St Joe Pennisula state park with the beach on one side and the bay on the other. Really cool. Apalachicola is also a must - very cute town and 'Hole in the Wall' had the best seafood we tried. The owner was also very easy to get in touch with and responds quickly. The only drawback I saw was the trucks driving on the beach which can be annoying with kids. Overall we loved it and have no complaints about the house or owner. Top notch!"

  • It was a wonderful time for the Virtual Book Club.

"The house was absolutely wonderful. The kitchen was ideal for group cooking and very well stocked with everything one needs -- was happy to see a stick blender and small food processor -- plenty of wine glasses and dishes and so;verware. The property was clean and the customer service was exemplary. I would like to visit the property again -- do I directly contact the owner or do I need to go on the VRBO site? We went to the market and we ate at Provisions restaurant -- WONDERFUL!!!!!! We also went to the fish market - the owner is a very colorful man! We loved the pool and it was nice to walk along the beach. The sunsets and sunrises from the balcony was breathtaking. A nice quiet neighborhood. It was a perfect get away."
