  • Great place to stay. Great owners and managers!

"We have been visiting the cape for several years and have stayed in many different houses. Gone Catchin is a great option for a small family. We stayed with our two kids (8 and 11) and had plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked and the family room has plenty of seating. While I would love to see a king bed in one of the rooms in the future, the 2 queens fit our needs. The house is updated for the most part and has everything you need to be comfortable. The beach is super close - we have stayed at the oceanfront house in front of Gone Catchin and it really is only a few additional steps to the beach. Helen, the owner, was easy to work with and very responsive. We only had to call the management company once for a broken AC fan, but they were extremely quick to respond and could not have been nicer. We absolutely loved our stay and have already booked next year."

  • My home away from home!

"For the past three years I have stayed at Sea Ya Later during the winter season and plan to return again next year. It is perfect for me and my dog with a beautiful beach and ocean right outside the door. The house is a simple and basic beach house with all the amenities that I need. The rental service was quick to respond when several light bulbs burnt out and even put in a new mail box when I realized that my mail forwarding was in jeopardy without one. Since I have some mobility problems, they even sent a nice young man to help me unload my car and help me settle in for my stay so that I could avoid hauling stuff up the stairs! The review from 2012 does not reflect the improvements the owners made a few years ago and they recently put in a new flat screen in the living room which made streaming videos possible for me. There were lots of nice towels and plenty of cookware, dishes and utensils. Don't expect the upscale amenities a higher priced place will provide and you won't be disappointed. I enjoy the privacy, solitude and ability to do absolutely nothing while I am there and look forward to it each year. The grocery store in Port St. Joe has everything you need and the best steaks and seafood you could eat!"

  • Sandra

"Once again we had a fabulous stay at Pelican Haven. This little piece of the Gulf Coast Is fantastic. The house is always clean and comfortable and there is so much to enjoy in the area.It is so laid back compared to beaches northwest of here.Every year we come down we meet friendly locals on the beach who usually tell us about things to see and do in the area that we have not already discovered. The uncrowded beaches are great for families or anyone that enjoys the oceans natural beauty without all the bad elements you may find in other areas.Port St Joe is just down the road and has all the convenieces such as grocery stores, restaurants and other shops. As you drive from Tyndall AFB into Mexico Beach to St Joe Beach you will get a really nice unobstructed view of the Gulf without all the high-rises that have taken over elsewhere. It truly is The Forgotten Coast and for me,I hope it stays that way."

  • Wonderful

"The condo was just a joy to stay in. The decor is peaceful, the view relaxing and the location perfect. I hope to book this condo again soon and make it my official vacation home if Leah is willing to share."
