  • My home away from home!

"For the past three years I have stayed at Sea Ya Later during the winter season and plan to return again next year. It is perfect for me and my dog with a beautiful beach and ocean right outside the door. The house is a simple and basic beach house with all the amenities that I need. The rental service was quick to respond when several light bulbs burnt out and even put in a new mail box when I realized that my mail forwarding was in jeopardy without one. Since I have some mobility problems, they even sent a nice young man to help me unload my car and help me settle in for my stay so that I could avoid hauling stuff up the stairs! The review from 2012 does not reflect the improvements the owners made a few years ago and they recently put in a new flat screen in the living room which made streaming videos possible for me. There were lots of nice towels and plenty of cookware, dishes and utensils. Don't expect the upscale amenities a higher priced place will provide and you won't be disappointed. I enjoy the privacy, solitude and ability to do absolutely nothing while I am there and look forward to it each year. The grocery store in Port St. Joe has everything you need and the best steaks and seafood you could eat!"

  • Great location. Reasonably priced.

"This house was much closer to the beach than we expected and the beach wasn't crowded. The neighborhood was quite and well kept. As for the house it was clean and in good shape. The air conditioner worked perfectly (high heat index that week) and we enjoyed the porch style swing under the house whenever a storm rolled through. The oven did not bake (only broil/confection) so that threw us off as we only bake food. And while everyone prefers different mattresses to sleep on, we found the beds to be a bit uncomfortable. So the oven and beds were our only concerns. Other than that, booking was easy and the check in/out process was a breeze. We could not have asked for a better vacation and will return in the future."

  • 70 steps from top floor to the beach

"6 of stayed the week of July 4th at Beach Blast! We had a blast! The home was everything as advertised! The crystal blue water of the gulf was magnificent! We enjoyed some sightseeing as well to Appalachicola and to the state park which is only a few miles away, The local shoppe for doughnuts in the morning and ice cream at night was muah! Love, love, loved our stay at Beach Blast!"
