  • Highly recommend!

"The duplex was the perfect fit for our two families! Plenty of space for everyone. You can mingle or you can find a quiet place to just sit and read. And the house had everything we needed. We also enjoyed some great seafood at the local restaurants. The beach is amazing! Clean, white sand, and warm, clear water. And it's not crowded at all! It's like having your own private beach, right outside your front door! There's also lots of marine life for those who like nature. I saw sea creatures I'd never seen before. And lots of shells! The kids loved to play in the waves. The weather was surprisingly cool for summertime, and I never saw a single mosquito. The house has two big porches, one downstairs and one upstairs. Both provide an excellent view of the ocean and the beautiful sunsets. If we weren't on the beach, we were relaxing on the porch. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the house uses geothermal cooling/heating (as an engineer, I thought that was neat!). The owner was very caring, making sure we had everything we needed and offering advice on the best places to eat. Very friendly and hospitable! We're already making plans for another visit."

  • WOW ! What a great time !

"Cozy and comfy !! Our family vacation was absolutely fantastic. Fishing, crabbing, walking, shelling and fun in the sun. My grandchildren loved the adventure at the beach. The wildlife was so beautiful to see in it's natural setting. The sunsets were breathtaking every evening. Our day trip to Apalachicola was so much fun. The town and shopping was a real treat. Lunch at Up the Creek was great for the whole family. The outdoor eating was breezy and delightful. My daughter and Son in Law went back to The Owl for their anniversary dinner and gave rave reviews on the food, atmosphere, and service. Being as we ate in every meal St. Joes Shrimp Co was our shopping destination for all our fresh seafood. Such a lovely and welcoming place. My husband and I went to the State Park and explored. We wish we had another week to stay so we could have spent more time in the park and bay area. The loft in the house was so much fun for the kids and great for the adults too. Scallop Cove fills beer growlers with local brew. We really enjoyed getting to taste and try the different brews. The donut shop down by the Trading Post is a must. Such delicious treats. Get there early they sell out fast ! The Trading Post had anything we needed so we really never had to leave Cape San Blas. It is a 17 mile slice of heaven. My grandchildren loved the bike trail and took a long long ride with their mother and father. Theresa's Vacation Beach Rentals was so helpful. We had to change houses due to my oldest daughter canceling at the last minute. They assisted me with a new house in no time. We all agree we are coming back for more vacations at Cape San Blas !!"

  • Great Condo with plenty of room!

"We had a lovely time at Cape San Blass. After staying for many years at Destin, Orange Beach, Gulf Shores and fighting the traffic and crowds on the beach, it was great to enjoy the quiet and almost deserted beach. The condo had everything I needed. There was plenty of room for my two granddaughters, my daughter and I to spread out. We used the condo's bikes, and sand chairs. Remember to pack beach towels and bug spray for the biting flies on the beach. We loved the wind, because the flies would disappear. Everyone must try the glazed croissant from the doughnut shop in Cape San Blass. We visited Apalachicola for the day. It is only 45 minutes away. We had lunch at the Owl Nest, it was very good. We enjoyed visiting all the quaint shops. The condo was wonderful and the area is fantastic."

  • Great Place and Great Vacation!

"Mrs. Susan we had a great time and loved you place in Mexico Beach. It was a short stay but just what we needed for a quick get away. We will most definitely be back when we can stay longer. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a nice place to stay. Mrs. Susan was very easy to work with, quick to respond, and renting from her was a breeze."
