  • Great property!

"We had a great time at stepped on a pop tart! Plenty of room for 7 of us! More than enough kitchen utensils and small appliances to cook, plus a gas grill. Very close to beach, don't even need your flip flops! We will be back!"

  • Unbelievable Views

"This is an awesome property. We stayed for a week and it was our second visit. We had such a great relaxing time that we went ahead and made reservations for two weeks next summer. This is a very comfortable home with all of the amenities. The beach is perfect for long walks and the sunsets are beautiful. Having the State Park just down the beach is a plus. The owners of St. Ann are great to work with as well. We couldn't have asked for a better place to get away and relax."

  • It deserves 6 stars!

"Our annual trip to Port St. Joe would not be complete without staying at The Crab Shack. It truly is a home away from home. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The living room area has plenty of room to sit comfortably and enjoy the big screen TV after a fun day on the bay or at the beach. The location is great - close to downtown, grocery store, marina, restaurants and just a short scenic drive away the state park and Apalachicola. The neighborhood is very quiet and there is a beautiful view of the bay from the front porch. The sunsets are spectacular. Ted is a great host and he always makes sure we have everything we need to enjoy his awesome house. We can't wait for next year!"

  • Great family spot

"We loved our time at MDV. More of a quiet private type beach. The house was well supplied with kitchen items and a TV in every room. We split our beach time with the state park to experience something a little different and because we did have a run in with a jellyfish the second day. The water is a little clearer at the park. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch. The only bugs we found to be a problem were the mosquitos right under the house. Wear bug spray at night and you'll be fine. No problem with sand fleas or flies. This spot is a great place for nature lovers with lots of wild/sealife. Loved it."
