  • One Awesome Week

"WOW! WHAT A NICE HOUSE! Our family has been coming to St George Island for many years, and this is by far one of the best places we have ever stayed. It was one of the cleanest and most organized houses we have ever stayed in. The large pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. The yard and area around the pool are very well maintained. It was very well decorated, and we loved it that it had tile and hardwood floors throughout the house. Also I have to say this is the first time we have ever had a table where there was room for everyone. We really enjoyed meals together and playing games at night around the table. Scott and Brenda were absolutely great to work with. When we arrived, we had a problem with the lock on the pool, and we made a call to them, and the pool guy was out in less than 20 minutes and promptly replaced the lock. Can tell they truly care about the people who are renting from them. We will definitely recommend Beach Dayz to our family and friends. Thanks for such a great rental experience!"

  • Good location with lots of room

"This property is very roomy, quiet and conveniently located; walk to the beach, the bay, shops, rental places and food on the island and take an easy bike ride to the state park (which is truly beautiful and pristine). The house is in the trees, so not as hot as the houses right on the beach and you can enjoy a nice breeze while sitting on one of the two covered decks that face the gulf (but you are not able to access the rooftop deck)! Kitchen and its tools are ok for making light meals or breakfasts (go out and eat fresh seafood!). Amenities are basic. Double beds and pillows are comfy. Host is very responsive and easy to rent from. Our family of four had plenty of space, played some of the games left at the house but really enjoyed being able to access the offerings of St. George Island easily! Would rent again!"

  • Great house for family with kids and dogs.

"We came to SGI because the beaches are dog friendly. This house was great for a family of 7 with 2 dogs. It was as described, but even better. The dog pen was pretty secure - I was a little wary at first, but it worked out well. There are 3 bedrooms, so there was some doubling up. The kitchen and living area are very large and the inside is very nice. We cooked there a couple of nights and enjoyed food from the (very close) restaurants. Everything is very close and convenient. The beach was a little further of a walk than we anticipated, so we ended up hauling everyone in our van and parking a couple of blocks over. The area of the beach that is directly in line with the house is nice and private, not very close to the public beach entrance. We mostly stayed at the house or beach. We went to the State Park at the eastern end of the island one day, and that was nice. We did a little bit of shelling. We also visited the nature center that is on the mainland near the start of the bridge to SGI. So there are things to do, but when you come here relax. Enjoy the beach and the house. We are already talking about coming back next year, and if we do we are going to definitely try to book this house again."
