"It was great! This was our second time staying here. The private beach is perfect ! This time, I even had my seven week old baby and it was so nice being able to be on the beach with him but be super close to go in as needed. Between my brother and I, we had 6 kids and they waves were perfect for skim boarding! Across the street is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. It's About 25 steps away! Best oysters ever!!!!"

  • for this price, it's the best place to stay.

"it's neat, got a lot of toys for kids, kayak and life vest for adults to play, it's fairly close to the beach, it's quite, peaceful. there is grocery store you can buy anything you need for short term stay. I suggest Mark share with people the waste management company collect every tuesday so instead of pull the bin when leave, should pull it on Tuesday morning, that will reduce the risk of being pull off by bears. the deposit return is quick, like 2 days I received it in full. thanks Mark, we will go back next year."

"Once again we had a fabulous stay at Pelican Haven. This little piece of the Gulf Coast Is fantastic. The house is always clean and comfortable and there is so much to enjoy in the area.It is so laid back compared to beaches northwest of here.Every year we come down we meet friendly locals on the beach who usually tell us about things to see and do in the area that we have not already discovered. The uncrowded beaches are great for families or anyone that enjoys the oceans natural beauty without all the bad elements you may find in other areas.Port St Joe is just down the road and has all the convenieces such as grocery stores, restaurants and other shops. As you drive from Tyndall AFB into Mexico Beach to St Joe Beach you will get a really nice unobstructed view of the Gulf without all the high-rises that have taken over elsewhere. It truly is The Forgotten Coast and for me,I hope it stays that way."
