  • Great relaxing vacation.

"We vacationed here and we all loved it. It is a spacious home next to a wonderful beach. I would recommend this home."

  • Highly recommend!

"The duplex was the perfect fit for our two families! Plenty of space for everyone. You can mingle or you can find a quiet place to just sit and read. And the house had everything we needed. We also enjoyed some great seafood at the local restaurants. The beach is amazing! Clean, white sand, and warm, clear water. And it's not crowded at all! It's like having your own private beach, right outside your front door! There's also lots of marine life for those who like nature. I saw sea creatures I'd never seen before. And lots of shells! The kids loved to play in the waves. The weather was surprisingly cool for summertime, and I never saw a single mosquito. The house has two big porches, one downstairs and one upstairs. Both provide an excellent view of the ocean and the beautiful sunsets. If we weren't on the beach, we were relaxing on the porch. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the house uses geothermal cooling/heating (as an engineer, I thought that was neat!). The owner was very caring, making sure we had everything we needed and offering advice on the best places to eat. Very friendly and hospitable! We're already making plans for another visit."

  • Fantastic location!

"The location is perfect, almost a private beach, and it was in the middle of high season. If you don't want the crowds of Destin and Panama City, this is the place for you. Property was very clean, well-equipped (especially the beach toys and chairs). Teresa was a dream to work with, even after one of our very large teenage boys wrecked one of her bicycles. The spiral stairs could be a challenge if you have small children or are elderly, but we all had plenty of room and quiet. Best restaurant in the area is Killer Seafood in Mexico Beach, worth the trip but go for lunch and go when it first opens. We cooked most of our meals with seafood from the St. Joe Piggly Wiggly. Highlight of the trip was our crabbing expedition to the nearby creek that runs into the ocean. We had a blast and cooked our "catch" (seven crabs; about two dozen got away!). There isn't much entertainment in this area (read: none) but that's why we love it. We hate the go-karts, putt putts, souvenir shops and chaos of most beach towns. The boys complained that there were no girls around, but again, that's why we love this area. (They wouldn't talk to the girls anyway.)"

  • Perfect TownHome

"First time at Port St Joe. But will not be our last. Everything was gorgeous!!!! The townhome was beautiful and clean. Plenty of room for our family of 8. The owner was very nice and helpful with any questions that we had. They have made sure that the townhome was stocked with everything that you may need. Very short walk to the beach. The beach is beautiful and quiet. My family can not wait to go back. We will be staying at Stars on the Water again!!!"
