  • Attractive room, great location

"This room and Fountainbleau Terrace in general is in a great location. The furnishings and such were up to date and the kitchen was well laid out."

  • 2 block walk to the beach

"We stayed at a Boathouse west for nine days, and their was plenty of room for 9 people.I assume it has a flash hot water system,so we never ran out of hot water.Southern was excellent to deal with, the AC unit was out on the second floor, and they got someone over there directly to get it going, and I will stay here again, but I want a comfortable mattress to sleep on. If you have an air mattress bring it for the hide-a-bed.Also the light switch by the door in the bedroom downstairs turns the T.V. on and off,so it's not broke just bad wiring decisions.Thumbs up to you Southern, and thumbs up for the view from the roof top looking at the water, and Lagoon Raceway. .Pros:The area, and the space,2 blocks from the beach, and Lagoon raceway, and miniature golf course. Cons:The parking, and furniture."

  • Luxury and great location on a semi-budget.

"Cute, boutique style, renovated room, right on the beach. It's small, but cheaper than other beachfront condos/hotels, so a good value. We didn't spend much time in there anyways, so the small size wasn't a big deal. When the pull down bed is out, it's very cramped, but still enough room to walk around the end of the bed. The kitchen has many cooking supplies, including saucepans, spices, glasses, silverware, etc...very nice touch. The mini fridge is like what you'd get anywhere else. You can choose from 1 of 4 bottles of wine to drink on the house, and can buy one to leave if you drink more than one....an awesome bonus. Love the faux fireplace on the wall...a nice cozy (and romantic) touch. There is a small tv with tons of channels on the wall at the foot of the pull down bed. They provide small hotel style toiletries, 4 beach towels, and standard white hotel style towels for us. They also had 2 tiny beach seats and 2 small beach umbrellas. We enjoyed the chairs watching the sun set one night. There were dolphins frolicking near the shore....loved that! One of the decorative chairs was broken and I almost fell over when I sat on it, but not a big deal...we just avoided it after. Some of the furniture has been repurposed/painted, so some of the drawers stick, but again, not a big deal. The bathroom lights are the darkest I've ever seen in a bathroom...ok for general bathroom use, but I could barely see the makeup I was putting on. The management team is also apparently the cleaning staff? We checked in at 5:30 pm (check in time 4 pm) and the guy was still cleaning....said it had been "one of those days". We only waited 15 mins though...and he did get it pretty clean, so we didn't care. I guess since they are the cleaners, the very casual t-shirts and shorts make sense, but I've never seen any property management dress like this before. Management was nice and helpful, but walking in to bring towels with a vape in your hand isn't professional. The owner took care of us via text ...much appreciated. You can take the elevator down and be on the beach in 2 minutes. There is a long strip of no businesses east of the beach, so there aren't many people out there...no fighting for a good beach spot. There was probably 40+ feet between the groups on the beach. We went in early Sept and the weather was amazing and the water was still warm. It was fairly quiet there and we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend it."
