  • Very nice property and very family friendly. Condo very clean and had everything we needed.

"We stayed at Horizon South-50C for 8 days during the Softball World Series this July. The condo was just as described and had everything we needed. Ellen was great to work with and there were several extras that you usually don't find in rentals. There was plenty of toilet paper for the entire stay, washing detergent and garbage bags, etc. These added touches just made just enjoy the stay more. I was concerned that the upstairs bedroom would be hot, since it was so hot outside. I was so happy that the entire condo stayed very cool even when it was blistering outside. This was so nice to come home to after so many hot days at the ball fields. The pools were very nice and very clean. Having the three pools together gives plenty of room to spread out, and it never seemed crowded. We had a wonderful stay and will recommend it to others!"

  • great stay

"My family 3 daughters under 10 and my mother stayed here and had a great time with plenty of room to move around. The owner was easy to work with and relieved any anxiety about renting from a private owner. The free beach chair service made the days at the beach more enjoyable . I would definitely recommend this condo to any family heading to the beach. Just wanted to add this room with two masters overlooking is definitely the way to stay at splash . We have stayed before and rented through sterling and I have to say this stay and room was better."

  • Good stay, great location.

"My family of 5 stayed here for 9 nights. The Good: Location; quick, easy walking access to the beach and Pier Park. The Bad: Lots and lots of traffic on Front Beach Rd means its hard to get the car out of the driveway, and its pretty loud at night. Other notes: super cold AC, we pretty much froze. Kept adjusting the thermostat, but always needed some of the extra blankets that were on hand. Nice big closets, but no hangers at all, so all that space pretty much useless for causal travelers. Wished there were a few more small rugs on the slippery floor, and more places to hang wet beach towels inside. Balcony was great for people watching, but if its a beach view you're after, you'll find yourself yearning to be on the other side of the street. Kitchen was well stocked with pots & dishes of all sorts. A little welcome packet would be nice, like a note that said where the dumpster was and list a few close places to eat or buy groceries. No biggie, just would make that first night easier. So overall - good location and good experience. A little more attention to detail needed before I'd give it that 5th star."

  • Great!!

"This was the first time my husband and I had stayed on a lower floor. Loved it! You can sit in the living room or be in the kitchen and see across the ocean. Condo was great and had everything we needed. Even though the weather wasn't the best, we had a great time. The owner, Ellen was awesome to deal with. Would stay again!"
