  • Great

"We loved the condo. The only real issue was the pull out sofa bed. It was horrible to sleep on. Other then that we really enjoyed it there."

  • Best location for surf, shopping, and entertainment

"Lovely stay and a little preparation will help your stay run smooth. The location is perfect as your are right on the beach and so close to the water. You will not need to trudge through the sand with your chairs as the deck and walkway extend to the dunes and a short level path leads to the beach. The covered porch provides shade, a table, and cushioned chaise lounge. It would be nice if they upgraded a few chairs to directors height like the neighbors decks have as you cannot see over the railing when seated. The second sundeck with four chaise lounges and two Adirondack chairs is a sunbathers delight. The fresh water shower is welcome relief to remove sand and salt water prior to entering the house. The street side of the house has a carport for two cars to be in the shade and lets you unload groceries out of the rain. The large concrete driveway allows parking for five to six cars. The small charcoal grill is located under the porch on concrete which will prevent deck fires but isolates the cook. The grill is the cheap $19.99 small 17-22 inch square grill from WalMart . WalMart ad says you can get 16 burgers on this grill but like camp tents the occupancy seems overstated. The price of this home should raise the level of provided amenities and a gas grill should be standard. This el cheapo grill brings back college days of crappy condos . We did not grill out! The interior furnishings are very nice and match the level of the home. The sleeper couches are comfortable for sitting but typical sleepers when pulled open. We opened one to look at it but did not need it for sleeping, thank goodness. The living room has seating for eight, the kitchen table seating for four and five bar stools. The pantry closet has two folding chairs that can be used at the table or living room. The covered deck has a large circular table with six cushioned chairs for extra seating.Plenty of lamps, lighting and end tables. The kitchen supplies seem to have improved from prior reviews but still needs some attention to detail for such a lovely home offering occupancy of sixteen. Have you ever tried to make toast in a toaster OVEN? NOT fast! just two slices taking 2-4 minutes each. Where is the four slice toaster that lets you toast bread or bagels??? A small rusty cookie sheet placed in the oven on broil speeds things up. I found it funny that the broken can opener was still in the drawer. We did find a working one and will place a note on the broken one."

  • Very clean, comfortable, quiet.

"Our family enjoyed staying at this Flat. We liked being on the top floor because it was extra quiet. The town of rosemary is an easy walk and the beach is an easy bike ride. We loved finding secret walk ways to ride our bikes to the beach while looking at all the beautiful homes in Rosemary. The Flat was perfect for what we wanted. Plenty of room for our family of four. The kitchen has all the necessary supplies while the bed linens are nice and comfortable."

  • Old but homey. . .

"When we pulled up my heart sank. I saw an old yellow out dated bungalow. When I walked in my heart sank a little more. to the left you see broken blinds and ripped couches. It was super hot so i go to thermostat and it won't go below 70 degrees. Read me out folks. The photos are outdated. so is the living room couches (they have holes and tears in them). . . but this place is so much more... the kitchen was super nice along w/front bathroom. the backyard was so peaceful i'd rent again just because of it. The place can use updates and a fresh coat of paint ...also, hear ye!! for the GRILL, take knobs off to get other two burners to work. oh, and DEAR ROD, please for renters sake put some blinds in the back bedroom. those see through curtains aren't enough when you have teenagers running around! (also, simply b/c you can't sleep in due to the sun beaming in and if you can't go below 70 its HOT in the back. thank you kindly.) It rained twice while we were there, saw no leaks, so idk what that review was all about. We would rent again. it was nice, just the little things needs to get fixed. us being able to bring our dogs made this place even more enjoyable. There was a guy named randy that freaked us out. he came out of no where to clean pool. i really didn't appreciate that cause my dogs went crazy and it scared us. some heads up would be nice. The walked to the beach was nothing. like a street over literally. Don't freak out when you see fridge, the front door is all rusted but inside perfectly clean. Don't get me wrong when you pull up your heart might sink, don't judge it from the outside, trust me. Now, i see why everyone raved about this place. You won't go wrong. WE will be back next year. The owner was super nice and easy to work with."
